Bahamas: Never seen him live, I love his new album and his songs. Hell I even did the band a day for him.
Jamie XX: Never seen him live, love his music and his sets. Did not do the band a day cuz somebody signed it up for it first.
Everybody on Inforoo is gonna say Jamie XX and taking just these shows into account, I agree, my problem is I really want to see Atomic Bomb! That's why I'm considering Bahamas. So, if you don't want to see Atomic Bomb!, I suggest Jamie XX, if you wanna see Atomic Bomb!, welcome to my situation and I'm probably gonna decide in the moment based on crowd size

I do want to see Atomic Bomb!.. I think I'll definitely go to Bahamas. I really want to be upfront and will more than likely camp for it. I won't miss anybody since Bahamas would be my first show on Saturday.
I'm listening to Bahamas right now and there is something about his music that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. lol.
Hopefully we can hang out while watching Bahamas and Atomic!

1) Courtney Barnett > Mac Demarco v. Benjamin Booker
2) SOJA vs King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard I'm leaning towards King Gizz as I've really been digging their stuff and think they will be an awesxome live act, but I have really been enjoying SOJA's latest album and think their set could be fun.
My Morning Jacket v. Gary Clark Jr. v. Belle & Sebastian My Morning Jacket v. Belle & Sebastian v. Atomic Bomb My Morning Jacket v. Childish Gambino v. Atomic Bomb This whole clusterfuck is just killing me. I've heard a thousand times to never miss a MMJ set, but with all those conflicts, they might have to go. Also, I will be seeing them in July in Raleigh, NC. Even if I cut out MMJ, I'm still stuck with conflicts from hell! I'm a big fan of GC Jr., this will probably be the only chance to see Atomic Bomb, and I was really looking forward to both B&S and Childish.
Slayer > D'Angelo v. Superjam!
Pokey LaFarge v. Shakey Graves
Spoon v. Sturgill Simpson I'm a HUGE Sturgill fan, but I will be seeing him next Saturday (opening for Old Crow Medicine Show)
Brandi Carlile v. Punch Brothers
Florence + The Machine > Bluegrass Superjam v. Robert Plant. I was really looking forward to seeing both Florence and the Bluegrass SJ, but I just can't imagine missing Plant.
This schedule really is a clusterfuck for me. I still have all these conflicts, and that's even after going in and resolving several on my own.

This is a confusing post to comment on haha but I'm gonna try to help you out!
For that first conflict, I would 100% go Courtney>Mac; unless Benjamin is just an absolute can't-miss for you, opting for TWO great shows (Courtney and Mac) instead of being able to fit in only one just seems like the better use of that time, right?
I prefer SOJA but if you like King Gizz, I feel like that has the potential to be a stand out show. I just don't personally love their sound - if you do though, I think you should go for them.
The Saturday evening clusterfuck is pretty bad, hard to give advice on that one. Since you're seeing MMJ in July and their set is only 90 mins at Roo, I would advise (don't throw stones at me, inforoo!) to skip out on that, and maybe catch first bit of Gary then go to Atomic Bomb? I like Childish on track but have heard such lackluster reviews of his live performance - kind of same with B&S. If I was going to Roo this year, I'd be doing Jamie XX>SBTRKT, but from what you gave as options, I say first 40ish mins of Gary then book it on over for Atomic Bomb.
I'm not a Slayer fan but if you like them AND D'Angelo, then again I would go for the two is better than one rule - although superjams are their own entity...
See how you feel after the Sturgill show. Maybe that'll help you feel like you can opt for Spoon instead at Roo, or maybe it will make you more sure you want to catch him at Roo too.
I like both Brandi and Punch Brothers. I would probably choose the latter though.
FLOREEEEENCE. Sorry Robert Plant, but Flo Flo Flo.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I just saw Pokey LaFarge at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville this week. HE IS A DO NOT MISS SHOW! Unique style and just such an a amazing band backing him up.

I really want to see him and need to listen to his new album. Hoping the Which Stage Sunday afternoon isn't brutal heat for this one.
We really need some info on the superjam to help with these conflict resolution issues. Hopefully Wednesday we'll learn more.
Yes, my Saturday night is complaint hanging on Superjam info. I'm either doing Slayer>Nectar>D'Angelo or Superjam !>D'Angelo and I'd really love to know which it's gonna be
I could use a little help from my friends. What should I do?
Houndmouth vs getting up close for Courtney Barnett? Gary Clark Jr vs the first half of MMJ? War on druqs vs getting a good spot (or in line for the pit) for MMJ? Sbtrkt vs the end of MMJ and getting/keeping a good spot for Mumford? D'Angelo vs Flume? Spoon-->Florence vs Brandi Carlile -->Robert Plant? (not staying for Billy Joel)
I think a full GCJ set would be better than half of an MMJ set. But if you're going to see all of MMJ, commit and get into the pit. Then get out of the pit and go into the Mumford pit line. It's less running around and the pit is pretty shaded near the end of the day so it shouldn't wear you out too much.
And I agree with CKS in regards to D'Angelo over Flume and Spoon/Flo over Brandi/Robert.
I'd really like to see SBTRKT. I don't think leaving What between MMJ and Mumford is going to be a good idea tho, unless I want to watch from the back of the field. So I really hope SBTRKT gets a second set...
A second GCJr set would be great too, so I can show up extra early for MMJ with no regrets. Hozier makes my ears burn so I'll probably catch War on Druqs then head over to What for MMJ. I can't believe I'm planning on missing GCJr.
Alabama Shakes vs Atmosphere Ben Harper vs Kendrick Lamar
This scheduling right here is pretty terrible. They could of staggered this rather easily. Push everything on Which back an hour or so for the day. It gives Kendrick the "headlining spot" plus gets rid of the hour of dead time Friday night. Or simply just push back Ben Harper to a 10:30-11:45 or 10:45-12:00. That hour of nothing just doesn't make any sense.
I may be doing that. To your question SOJA is the single band I've seen the most. They put on an awesome live show. I am still in debate between them and BtBaM because I have never seen BtBaM
Unknown Mortal Orchestra or Against Me! I really like what I've hear from Unknown Mortal Orchestra. But I love Against Me! I've seen em 3 times.
ODESZA vs STS9 vs Flying Lotus My girlfriend will probably want to dance so I am probably leaning towards the first but all 3 should be the tits. I just don't know
Stay for D'Angelo after slayer vs check out Superjam! I'm def seeing D'Angelo but I'll have a better idea once the Superjam! is announced
I'll be eating during that time if you'd like to get dinner together. See you at that fancy grilled cheese food truck.
Thanks for the offer. I'll probably grab a snack at the What field during War On Drugs afterwards. I'm leaning towards Woods. I've enjoyed their albums but the live clips I've seen I like even better. They can get real improvisational. SZA should be a really chill set or a fun dance party, whatever I choose to make of it. I've liked what I've heard from Kandace and her Letterman appearance. The main advantage of picking that over the others is that it will be more intimate.

Yes, my vote for this goes to Woods, that's where I'll be

I guess I'll just fucking eat dinner alone!! Assholes.
For a conflict like this one, you probably have to consider the rest of the day to put it in perspective. For example, Kandace Springs will probably be a nice set - her first big chance (post-Prince shout outs) to get a following and there will probably be like 8 people at her set. However, if you're hinging on getting a front row seat for Jamie XX then your best bet is to go to SZA and move to the front as people leave her set. There is also the .01% chance that if Kendrick hangs around, he could come out and do Babylon with her. However if you're going to War on Drugs first, probably should just chill at Woods and stumble down from This to Which for that set. I've always liked their albums but the one time I've seen them live they were kind of boring.
Me - I'd do Kandace Springs for 30 minutes (say I saw her back with only 8 people before she blew up), then go hit an early dinner on my way to War on Drugs.

All this talk about dinner at Bonnaroo...do most people actually take time out to eat full meals every day? I prefer one meal at camp before heading in, then snacking mostly. Maybe grabbing a smoothie and a warm snack once during the day, but mostly just snacks. Getting warm in the sun makes me not very hungry, then once the sun goes down, i'm onto other things - food is no longer on my radar haha.
