I"m surprised there haven't been more EWF vs. FlyLo with the bump up in FlyLo's set time. Can't decide whether or not to skip out on the second part of EWF or just let it be.

This is one of the main conflicts that would realllllly kill me if I were going to the farm this year. I'd probably end up trying to split it even though that isn't actually the best decision - I just wouldn't want to skip out entirely on either one. But my general rule of thumb is tent>stage, so caribou might have the slight edge for that reason. Flo, though.... <3
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I'm a jam band guy, and I still say Temples over dopapod. I saw Temples in September and they were pretty great, much better than their album I thought. Extended their songs a bit, more psychedelic noise than actual jamming, but pretty cool.

I'm doing both - even if Dopapod is killing it and I can't leave early, I can still see the last half hour of Temples.

Can I also say it's pretty sad that this year on Thursday seeing a half hour is seeing the majority of band's set lol

the Thursday schedule makes no sense. I find it really odd that some of the cafe acts get an hour while main Tent acts only get 45. especially the last acts of the day on thursday. there is no reason Mac DeMarco should only play 45 minutes. And last year Ty Segall didn't even start until 1:00.
yeah, I'm actually gonna go dopapod->temples as well. I've seen temples, and I liked it, but there isn't too much overlap you can't do both.
the way he worded his question made it sound like he was gonna do one or the other. so with that premise, I say temples > dopapod.
After really enjoying Odesza's new album, I saw them play a sold-out show back in March and was massively disappointed. Their live set is straight up amateur hour.
I also watched a little bit of their Coachella set and they made a big to-do around debuting a new song with a marching band, which was a complete ripoff of TNGHT's "Higher Ground". It's not a sample or homage, mind you, but just a derivative work. The horns in it compare to "Higher Ground" in the same way that Vanilla Ice compared the "Ice Ice Baby" bass line to that of Queen's "Under Pressure". Basically, Odesza is a flash in the pan.

These were my sentiments. And that was without that video. I watched a coachella video and they literally just played a floor thom for the whole song Say My Name after pressing play
