Man that's so messed up.
Buford stage is going to be way smaller this year than last year it looks like. Peachtree and Piedmont stages aren't even close to each other. Boulevard stage is in a place that could hold more people than Piedmont stage.
It's pretty messed up but I trust they know what they're doing.
Can anyone who is local offer an opinion as to how far a walk it is from one end to the other?
I'm terrible with distances but it's definitely not very close. It will be at least as far as it was between the 2 sets of stages last year. Plus there's a MARTA station in between the 2 areas. I think that could be problem getting through all of those people.
Google maps tells me it's about .5 miles between Peachtree and Piedmont stages, which are the farthest apart. Marta will be outside of the festival gates so no worry there.

It would probably take 10 or 15 minutes walking at slow pace to get from one end to the other. I walk around the perimeter of Centennial every day at lunch at that takes me about 15 minutes.
Fortunately the Marta station is under ground. And it's definitely outside the gates even though that isn't clear on the map. If you take Marta you'll have to come up the escalator then walk through the station exit area then up to the Centennial to get into the fest. That little entrance alcove for the second stage entrance should help diffuse the crowd and help those already inside walk a little faster.

At first glance..
FRI
Beach Slang > The Japanese House > Craig Finn > Matthew Logan Vasquez > Baroness > The Sword > Beer & Food > Savages > Bloc Party > Slowdive > Janes Addiction
SAT
Son Little > Hop Along > JJ Grey & Mofro > Beer & Food > Deer Tick > Phosphorescent > Huey Lewis & The News > (maybe first part of) Foals > MMJ
SUN
Julien Baker > Ought > Atlas Genius > The Orwells > Parquet Courts or Diet Cig > EODM > Black Angels > Deftones > EITS > ATDI
edit: Slowdive v The Kills v All Them Witches is awful too
that is the worst one for me by far...I avoid a few because I am going to Hangout the following weekend (Flo v ATDI, Struts v Savages, Foals overlapping with MMJ)

I'm always overly ambitious with how many bands I think I can physically see, but luckily between Shaky Knees, Gov. Ball, WayHome and Osheaga it eliminates some conflicts.
For those that have done 420, do you think you'll be able to hear or see much of Ponce De Leon from Peachtree?
No, but you can hear P'tree in the background when you're at Ponce...but not an issue when the bands are playing.
I'm not worried about bleed since theyre staggered. I just was wondering if I was up close on the maainstage if i could enjoy the ponce de leon acts inbetween
