Guys, with Ween officially saying they're getting back together in February, they've definitely gotta be one of our options. I've never seen em but I've listened to them since I was little and I'd be very excited! How high would they be billed? Just randomly guessing, 6-8 sounds right to me...

Alright. So what are we going to pull from that amazing Hangout lineup? Now i'm thinking that Florence is almost certainly going to be one of our headliners.
Hopefully we get: Courtney Barnett, Cage the Elephant, Half Moon Run, and Foals. I'd like to get RTJ as well, but I'm sure they'll be at Shaky Beats in stead
also, Health and Bass Drum of Death and Kurt Vile. I could see us getting Flo, but I honestly don't think we will get Flo and MMJ the same year. I just really hope they do something more umique than that... or I'll be getting plenty of time to shower/eat before going to after shows. Also, I think Grimes fits Shaky Knees and she could maybe pre-HL one night. But, I could certainly see her at Shaky Beats instead
Anyone know what Menomena's up to? They'd be a great fit for this festival and it seems like they're overdue for a new album.
One of the dudes in menomena just put out an album last month with matt berninger from the national. Called el vy.
Oh, cool. I'll have to check it out.
As far as the location, just looking at Google Maps it looks like it should be the same size overall, it'll just depend on the layout. The organizers have done a pretty good job in the other spaces so I feel confident they can make it work. It would be nice to have some consistency, though.

I doubt we'll get both Cage and Foals since they both played 2014 and if I had to choose one or the other I hope it's Foals. But I'd be okay with both being on the lineup again.

As long as they share Grimes with Bonnaroo (so she can have a LN) I'd love to see her at Shaky Knees/Beats
Shaky Knees is moving to Centennial Olympic Park. Lineup coming in January, with Early Bird tickets on sale in early December.
They are also launching a new festival, Shaky Beats (featuring a predominately electronic music lineup sprinkled with some indie and hip-hop) the next week in the same location. Lineup in early December.
Had to skim through all of the thread just now, but where did you see this?

I made a pretty good mock last year, so....
Beck - My Morning Jacket - Blur Bjork - Of Monsters and Men - Death Cab for Cutie - The Libertines Weezer - Bloc Party - Ween - The 1975 - Belle & Sebastian Flaming Lips - Two Door Cinema Club - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Matt & Kim
St Paul & The Broken Bones- The Decemberists - Royal Blood - FFS - Silversun Pickups Sufjan Stevens - The Vaccines - Father John Misty - Grouplove - The Antlers - Portugal the Man The Fratellis - Sturgill Simpson - Yo La Tengo - Of Montreal - Dinosaur Jr. Japandroids - Sleater-Kinney - The Front Bottoms - Deerhunter - Future Islands - The Orwells Yeasayer - We Were Promised Jetpacks - Reignwolf - The Maccabees - The Drums
This is a festival who got Ride, American Football and Spiritualized last year. Anything is possible with Sweetwood.
Three bands who were already playing shows in the U.S., or who had played U.S. shows in very recent memory.
The Libertines just reunited and have played a few shows. They've played 11 times total in the U.S., and haven't played here since 2004. Nobody in the U.S. knows who they are. They're an extreme longshot.

Ha these billings (and others) are great
I didn't really take much time into billing. I just typed whatever came to mind and the typed it honestly
Also, Blur won't ever headline a U.S. festival again.
why?
Probably because nobody really cared when they played Coachella. I feel like I remember reading that the crowds for them and The Stone Roses were smaller than Tegan and Sara who were playing at the same time. Don't quote me on that.
