Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
1. Courtney Barnett 2. Chris Hardwick (W/ Zack G. set) 3. Strand of Oaks 4. Gary Clark Jr. 5. Sylvan Esso 6. Woods 7. Billy Joel 8. Bassnectar (partial) 9. Childish Gambino 10. Spoon 11. The Districts 12. Florence 13. Superjam 14. Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear 15. Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Belle and Sebastian Florence + the Machine Slayer (mostly because of the people I was with) Earth Wind and Fire Billy Joel
Honorable mention: Spoon. They would have made the top 5 if I had been closer, but it was too damn hot and I was under the shade tent waaaay in the back of the What field.
1. cherub at snake and jake's 2. slayer (most fun roo mosh pit I have ever been in. sorry if you had to see me in my underwear) 3. odesza 4. caribou (I left Robert plant after going to California because of the sound bleed, stayed for the rest of caribou and came back to a much louder plant doing whole lotta love and rock and roll, best decision of the weekend) 5. mmj 6. tove lo 7. tears for fears 8. spoon 9. billy joel (can't believe I'm saying that) 10. brownout at the robe rage (running around with my gf in these super shiny metallic silver robes with neon pink trim on them that she made was wayyyyyyy too much fun. all of the light shows reflected off of them and in my state of mind at the time it was insane)
while I was disappointed in the lineup at first, this was one of my favorite bonnaroos. I had so much time to do things on the farm that I had never been able to in my previous six times. can wait to be back already.
I didn't go but I watched a little of the Tears For Fears set. I see they're being ranked rather favorably on here. Im wondering if this is mostly due to them covering Creep? I loved the bit of their set I watched on the webcast. They sounded quite good for their age, and their set list was built well.
No. The "Creep" cover was just a part of it. Their whole show was great from beginning to end. I love that they walked out to Lorde's cover of their song "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and then jumped into their version of it. They came out swinging. I wouldn't have considered myself more than a casual fan before their set but they won me over. "Creep" was cool, but it would have still been my 2nd favorite set of the weekend without it.

Not really in any order, but all these shows were amazing
Florence Between the Buried and Me Slayer Moon Taxi Royal Blood Pokey LaFarge (I wish I had stayed for the whole show ) Catfish & the Bottlemen Houndmouth King Gizzard Ben Harper
I don't know if it was the heat or what but this year was really difficult. I just couldn't make it through as many or through the whole performance. Maybe I'm just a dweeb. But here are my best shows of 2015.
1. Florence + the Machine 2. D'Angelo and the Vanguard 3. Mumford and Sons 4. Run the Jewels 5. Alabama Shakes 6. Billy Joel 7. Earth, Wind, and Fire 8. Freddie Gibbs and Madlib 9. Tears for Fears 10. Jamie xx

1. Throwback Superjam - was one of the best concert experiences of my life, and I thought Prince was amazing earlier this year, thought this was right up there and solidifies a big reason to come to roo again and again.
2. Earth Wind & Fire - so funky and groovey, was dancing my ass off the whole time, Chance and Kendrick was icing on the cake, may have been super inebriated..
3. Tycho - this leading into the superjam was the best block of shows all weekend, narrowly beating Friday night because it was that awesome. Loved how the visuals got projected onto the top of the tent. Was so tripped out when I realized and felt like a weirdo turning around and looking up since I was so far into the tent.
4. Florence + the Machine - such great stage presence and fan interaction, at one point she ran down the dividing rail then stood on top of it all while singing beautifully to the crowd, another time she jumped down into the pit in front of VIP and got real close to the crowd, then to top it all off she had a fan holding a hug? sign come up on stage and gave her two big hugs. I know people want Alabama Shakes to headline but Florence will be first to do so. Her voice was fucking incredible.
5. Ben Harper - I came in half way through after Tears, he tore the place up and down an was a top shelf musical act to see, so glad I got a chance to see him live.
6. Jamie XX - holy shit does that guy know how to mix, danced some of the hardest of the weekend for his entire set. Wish he would have been late night, that guys works HARD.
7. Tears for Fears - showed up midway through after coming from Shakes and they sounded great, whoever that woman singer they had sounded very nice and was a good compliment to them.
8. Temples - best Thursday show, like someone else said, could certainly see this being a Tame Impala type blow up in the next few years. Wanted them to be higher on the list for sure.
9. Alabama Shakes - I was chilling back for that set but sounded great to me, could see them headlining in an album or so, whereas I think Florence is already there with her new album.
10. SZA / Shabazz Palaces - such a toss up between the two I am choosing both. SZA came out of nowhere for me, wasnt really feeling the begining of Bahamas that much so I wandered over to sza (who I never heard of before) and got a great spot. She sounded great and really dug the edm type background music to her songs, when chance came out for their song it was incredible. I was already excited to see Shabazz but I didnt expect so much bass, I also didn't expect for them to do as much live stuff as they did, very impressive with the beat box and that weird drum/spacial tracking round thing they were having difficulties with during the song, then finished out the song with a great warping of the bass beat when they got it working. Those guys work hard, like really really hard, it always makes a stronger connection for me when you can see the effort really flowing through the people on stage.
1. Alabama Shakes - Without a doubt my favorite show. Brittany killed it. Got decently close staking out before Dawes (which was a great show as well) but coming out and playing Future People the energy started and never stopped. Seeing all the new stuff played live just made me love that record all the more!
2. Florence & The Machines - holy efff is Flo not front women of the year! She was commanding the crowd with her energy, doing her at all times whether through dance, frolicking, whatever! The fan service was amazing with that free hug and she was definitely diggin the crowd. I was originally on the bar to the left for most of the set but has to go back behind the VIP sitting/sound for that massive dance party to Dog Days!
3. Courtney Barnett - Thursday night was honestly such a great night. Everyone around my campsite was talking about maybe puruising through like nothing was happening but that had to have the most filled night of my must sees from Strands of Oak to Jungle. Courtney killed it. Like I think fell in love with her that night. The crowd moshing for the last two songs was insane and somehow ran right into someone from my high school. Embraced for a sec and just kept moshing. She is going places forsure.
4. Run the Jewels - had to leave Kendricks set early but 100% worth it! So much energy, so much fan enthusiasm, I mean I managed to get close up in the pit and the BO had already started to set in but no amount of musk could stop me from going absolutely insane. Cannot wait to see them at a Firefly.
5. My Morning Jacket - only stayed for a partial set but they killed it. The crowd was loving it and Jim James has the perfect rock star hair.
6. Birdman + Live Score - without a doubt the coolest experience of the weekend. Words cannot describe. The movie wasn't my absolutely favorite of the year or anything but damn Roo should start making these things a tradition.
7. Caribou - the perfect ending to the weekend! Can't Do Without You has been the song of my school year so hearing it as the sun set behind me was unbelievable. Also holy efffffff are they so much better live than I could have imagined. Really between them, Tycho, and Jamie XX I think I have a new found appreciation for EDM.
8. Bleachers - So much appreciation and energy. Say what you will about the popularity after one album, but Jack knows how to make a heck of a show experience. I think they even went over their set time. I was honestly surprised because I was expecting Round 2 of what I saw at Firefly last year but there was so much more to this set than that. Honestly just overall one of the funniest sets this year.
9. Superjam - This would insanely higher if the sound wasn't bleeding from the other stages and if the screen was on. It was a blast but for all I know some guy was just announcing all these people who were on stage that actually weren't. Me and my friends still don't believe Zach G was on stage and not some roadie with a beard haha Still nothing could take from Chance getting on stage.
10. Strand of Oaks - I loveeee Heal, and I have been listening since Pope Killdragon so to say I was anticipating this set is an understatement. Tim was absolutely fantastic, so humble and genuinely had a great time on stage ( as did I) JM was so emotion I almost cried.
HM: Tycho, Jamie XX, Houndmouth, Earth Wind and Fire
Dissapointments: Childish Gambino. I will say his set was really good, I am simply upset because it could be so much more. He skimped out on Freaks and Geeks and no real deep cuts from EP or Culdesac. The biggest struggle for me is how he doesn't intergrate comedy in at all. I think if could make a set that was half stand up, half rap that would be one of my favorite sets of all time.

1. MMJ - Every song I saw was played with such greatness. It met all of my high expectations. I love you, Jim James. 2. Twenty One Pilots - I don't see much of anyone posting about them. I could have just been fan girling the whole set..but I thought it was great. 3. Florence + the Machine - Oh, how I love the vibes Florence gives while she performs. My only complaint was that it only lasted an hour. Can't I just watch and dance while she performs her entire discography???? 4. Glass Animals - very groovy set. 5. Mumford & Sons.. I only cried once. 6. Odesza - I am SO glad I left Deadmau5 to go to this. I never listened before, but now I am definitely going to start listening. Yay for stumbling upon this gem. 7. Kendrick Lamar - Who knew I would have that much fun at a rap set? I'm glad I did though... 8. Sylvan Esso - I loved her wacky attitude. 9. Alabama Shakes - holy hell at the energy and just soul they put into their set. 10. MO
and did anyone else think that there were sound problems coming from the Which stage this year?? It just seemed like every time I watched something there I couldn't hear...

What did you think of the stage setup? I only caught about 30 minutes of his set but thought the screens were cool, how they started separating so you could see the band behind him. Band sounded tight too.
I only caught that small piece of the show but surprisingly enjoyed what I saw.

Inforoo hates Twenty One Pilots, that's why you haven't seen many posts about them. I love them, but I'm a definite minority, haha.
Only saw about 12 shows this year, but for right now these are my top ten:
1. Flying Lotus (wish I caught more than the last twenty minutes of it) 2. Kendrick Lamar 3. Jungle 4. Mumford and Sons 5. Florence + the Machine 6. Billy Joel 7. Glass Animals 8. Superjam ! 9. Sylvan Esso (this would be higher if I was under the tent instead of very tired and sitting on the grass outside) 10. Caribou (see token07, I told you I was going to go!)

1. Atomic Bomb!- totally agree with what flashii said about how everyone there knew they were in for something very special and it paid off even better than anticipated 2. Earth, Wind and Fire - not a nostalgia act. totally brought it 3. Flying Lotus - broke my voice trying get him to come back out. worth it 4. Reggie Watts - philosophical comedy party. if not a sunday "morning" event might have been #1. i was dragging a bit 5. Billy Joel - short but still had Movin' Out and a fun cover. Can't play 'em all every night. 6. Slayer - SLAYER 7. Brown Sabbath - like Atomic Bomb, these guys have done a fantastic job of expressing their love for another band within their own form. 8. Kalliope stage - just in general had a great time here when everything else was dead. 9. Moon Taxi - great festival band. should become a staple 10. Shakey Graves - if only because i didn't see anybody else mention them
