No exact numbers because it's Sunday morning and I couldn't do a true count justice!

Take off childish & kendrick and our lists are like the sameish band-wise
I still listen to boys night out. They sure put on fun shows. I'm gonna go look through my ticket box and fall down a nostalgia hole now.

I'm pretty sure we were destined to be friends since 2004 or so. I'm super jealous of Something Corporate. They eluded me, as has Brand New. But I'll FINALLY be seeing them at ACL in October!!!

probably hard for you to come up with an accurate list anyday. you know, since for you everday is like sunday.
just kidding, i wish i could see morrissey ONCE. flew from hampton, va after seeing phish on 3/6/2009 to see morrissey in atlanta (thereby skipping the other two phish "comeback" shows that weekend), and my then girlfriend and her friend drove five hours to atlanta to meet me. As soon as my plane set down and they were coming by the airport to get me, got an email that morrissey cancelled.
I was actually really pissed off for a while that I missed those two phish shows but in the end I caught the right show and the other two weren't that great.

Dr Dog - 17 (+2 more this fall) My Morning Jacket - 9 (+ 2 more this summer) Man Man - 7 Portugal. The Man - 7 The Disco Biscuits - 6 The Roots - 5 Minus the Bear - 5
I don't keep track (maybe I will start one day) and have no real way to make an accurate list right now. Guesstimate:
Dave Matthews Band would be around 40 times. By the end of this year MMJ will be around 10 (not including the NYE run if I end up there). After them, there are a really good amount of artists in the 6-9 range- mostly thanks to them being festival whores and me liking them enough to make their set a priority/ see them if they come nearby- Avetts, Dawes, The Head and the Heart, Bassnectar, Franti... Below them there are probably dozens that I have seen 4-5 times, so I am not going to even try to make a list of that.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

worth noting that in high school my most seen band was Limp Bizkit. I saw them four times between 1996-2000. at one point i thought they were the future of music. i try to remind myself of that whenever i start to think i know something about music.

Oh man, Korn and Limp Bizkit were my fucking jam in high school. I might need to revisit Follow the Leader and Life Is Peachy for old times sake. Think I'm done with the Bizkit though.

yeah i saw korn a bunch too, hell I drove an hour to see Korn a few years ago just for kicks, they still put on a good show. Freak on a Leash is still a solid track. Say what you will about Korn, they had a unique sound that fit the 90s perfectly.

when I was in high school I saw better than ezra probably 8 or 9 times. not that I even tried that hard, they just played memphis at least twice a year it seemed. though I recognized it was the last throes of 90's alt rock, I liked it.

According to a list I've been keeping for 9 years or so, I've seen Phil & Friends 23 times. But then Phil has lots of friends. That's not counting the times I saw him with the Grateful Dead, Furthur, and various other bands.

I have always lived in an area where I had to drive 2+ hours to catch somebody usually on tour...so no real crazy numbers. But I have seen Gary Clark Jr, Umphrey's McGee, and Trampled By Turtles all at least 4 different times.
Neil Young - 19 (includes NYCH, CSNY, Buffalo Springfield, various backing bands, one guest spot, and solo)
Others I have seen 5 or more times (it will take more time to figure out specific numbers than I want to devote to this right now):
R.E.M. Wilco The Who Bruce Springsteen Eric Clapton Bob Dylan
This list doesn't include bar bands but a special call out to The Butanes, a local blues/R&B band that I must have seen 30-40 times back in the late 80s/early 90s. They were fantastic and some of my absolute favorite shows were any of several random nights catching them at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis.
2024 Lineup: 4/10 - HFTRR @ Larimer Lounge 6/1 - JRAD @ Red Rocks 7/18 - Dr. Dog @ Red Rocks 7/26-7/28 - Newport Folk Festival 9/19-9/22 - Bourbon & Beyond Festival
The first two I can't remember exact numbers on so I'm estimating.
Paul Thorn- 10-20 (closer to the 20 side, especially if you count tribute shows he's been part of) Todd Snider- 10-20 (probably closer to 15 than 20) Alice Cooper- 7 Hayes Carll- 4 John Prine- 4 Trans-Siberian Orchestra- 4 Metallica- 4 Old Crow Medicine Show- Will be 4 in August Sarah Jarosz- 4 Phil Madeira/Mercyland- 4 Bela Fleck in various forms- 4 More 3x bands than I could ever list here.
