I just came across that "completed" crossword puzzle last night when my buddy was claiming to know the lineup. But a top line of Pearl Jam - The Weeknd - Coldplay - The Killers - Trey seems too top heavy for Gov Ball. Even more so I can't see Big Boi being on the lineup without Phantogram this year.

I enjoyed The Killers first 2 albums, and when I saw them live 8 years ago at MSG they put on a crazy good show. Still, I cant picture them at Govball.
I think at this point I need to stay away from Inforoo until the lineup is out. I can go 2 days without speculating. Be back on Friday!

Two friends and I are driving up from VA to do this, what's the best place to stay? Hotel in Brooklyn, right?
I would say airbnb in Brooklyn, but the city is cracking down on airbnb.. not really sure what the deal is there.
If you want a nice hotel go for Manhattan and either walk or take the ferry (walking is very easy). But if you plan on doing after parties and stuff you should try staying around Williamsburg and take the shuttle in from Brooklyn Bowl. Some parts of Brooklyn are still kind of scary, so be careful where you stay.. Stick to Park Slope, Bay Ridge, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Clinton Hill, or Bushwick.
Edit: just try for an airbnb around Williamsburg and shuttle it from BK Bowl. That's probably still the best option.
Cost really isn't an issue, is Airbnb that much better than a hotel? Do you buy the shuttle pass when you buy your tickets?
I prefer airbnb over hotels. I'd rather have my own actual bedroom and a full apartment to chill in, than just squeezing people into one room with two beds and a bathroom. But there's really no shortage of options on both accommodations and transportation. Go with whatever you're most comfortable with!
Shuttle and Ferry passes will be on sale Friday at the same time as tickets. But you don't need to buy them together. You can always secure your ticket and then come back to it.. Again, public transportation and Uber might be cheaper and aren't bad ideas either.
