That's because the guys in charge of the meadows don't book any good tours anymore. Never been a dave fan but he used to do three nights and then down to two because the third night always got out of control. Now they just book top 40 country acts which if you've ever been to those shows it's scarier than a pantera concert

This thread does tend to be kinder than most. We're kinda cool around here. We'd love to meet you- we'll make it happen. I can't do a full MJ weekend because I won't be able to get time off of work, but I am hoping to do a day pass or two. (I just need a driving and/or hotel buddy for Saturday night)

AGREED! I am actually not as against mainstream country as most people are around here and have been to my fair share (besides ZBB, I haven't been to any in the past few years), but it is terrifying out in those lots. So many drunken teenagers. Fights, puking, angry horse cops. It's brutal. I rarely even tailgate when I go to the Meadows nowadays and refuse to be in the lawn for most shows because of them.

I used to get to walk into the meadows all the time and would go just to watch the madness most of the time. I always wanted to take videos and show these kids mothers how they behave.

Save it as a jpg. Save it to Photobucket (or any photo hosting site). They will give you a link to direct access. Paste that link in the photo icon pop up.

I really thought they would announce earlier then last year since most festivals have been announcing their lineups earlier and earlier... Must. Stay. Patient.

I'm sure it will start next week but i would imagine only half of the lineup is complete which is why they wouldn't start earlier so the back half of the announcements doesn't get so dragged out
