All else aside, why can't Ray LaMontagne or (less so) Flight of the Conchords be a Friday headliner if Ryan Adams was? I understand the whole listing on the website argument, and the FOTC timing thing on their website, but every year can't be Roger f'n Waters.
I, for one, would be overjoyed with Ray LaMontagne backed by MMJ as a headliner for a day.
Nobody said it was Roger Waters. Historically speaking, the order on the website matters. If I didn't see that FoTC leak then I would think they were headlining.

I agree. Judging from last year's secrecy with both MMJ and James Taylor, I honestly believe we won't know headliners until they hit the stage that weekend.

How many acts were there on Friday last year? Since the "More to be announced" tile is gone, we should be able to compare to possibly figure out if we truly are done or not.

It was 18/day last year not counting the unannounced artists, Friday has 18 now. Could really go either way

It was 18 friday 19 saturday 18 sunday and the 19 was jt with a short set squeezed in. You can certainly count mmj but since it was an extended roger set it's a little different but who gives a shit it we're 62 days to newport

I'd count MMJ. It was billed as its own set on the schedule. The fact that it could run together obviously helped, but if they want to do 19 artists, they'll be able to
I'm totally okay with Ray headlining. His new album is fucking great, I want him to have as much time as possible to play those especially since it's with the Jacket Boys
