Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Could they be the Sunday headliner? It looks like they're booked at the Xponential Festival (or whatever it's called) on that Saturday, and Friday is full.
If Shakes are the Sunday HL, is it safe to assume they threw a ton of money at an unannounced Saturday HL? Say, Yusuf?
To be honest, the Shakes were pretty boring in 2012 at Newport. Boston Calling last year though? They blew the lid off of City Hall. Cannot wait to see them again.
What an epic show - especially since that was the night the red moon was out in full force.

Top 10 most anticipated:
1) Phil Cook 2) Ryan Adams 3) Ray LaMontagne 4) Shakes 5) Banditos (they put on an INSANE show in Providence opening for SPBB this winter) 6) Middle Brother 7) The Arcs 8) Glen Hansard 9) FJM 10) Norah Jones
Trying to pick only 10 here makes me realize just how incredible this lineup is. Awesome job Jay!

That's my wish pick, but I'm going to go with Paul Simon for the Saturday headliner (with Yusuf as the unannounced!)
This is actually almost a best case scenario for me. I appreciate the Shakes and Brittany's power house voice, but I have never fallen for them. I am 100% okay with missing them as the Sunday HL (still crying inside about others like Middle Brother).
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
This week's announcements are killing me. I was already sad that we can't go this year but it was hurting less because I wasn't thrilled with the lineup. Now it's looking great and I'm really sad.

oh man! I've seen Alabama Shakes twice now (Boston Calling and Bonnaroo) and they are pretty amazing recently.
the only thing holding me back from this damn festival is lack of tickets --- so ears open! If you know anyone who is dumb enough to not go or needs to offload a ticket to a very nice very grateful loving person...I'll be over here just waiting! I'm hoping to grab some tickets once July hits. They are still crazy priced on stub hub.
BUT - maybe all you veterans can clear up my dumb confusion --- on stub hub there are 'childs tickets' listed -- does NFF really do child's versions of tickets? I've never heard of a fest doing this and want to make super certain i don't accidentally buy one of those. lol

I think I have finally talked a certain monkey trainer into facing the cold hard truth that he doesn't have a choice but to go to NFF/Quack Club. All he needs to do is officially check yes on being my date. Don't hold out on me, ITM.

Hey I asked him first! LOL Whatever gets that Yes! We can not have QC without ITM.
I could even see them sticking with Norah Jones as the Saturday headliner and doing a surprise on Friday. She seems to fit the bill more than FotC
I would guess that FotC is going to close out the quad stage and that Ray will be the pre-headliner and similarly to last year with MMJ AND Roger Waters, Jim James will come out and Ray will guest on a My Morning Jacket headlining set.

God I hope so. I'd love to see Yim Yames make an appearance
I'm not expecting a change. They need a buffer for us to (try) to get out of there.

Soooo Ladysmith Black Mambazo just announced some US dates, last one being July 22nd in East Hampton, NY. IF MAYBE YOU WANT TO SWING BY NEWPORT AFTER THAT AND BRING YOUR OLD PAL PAUL, THAT WOULD BE COOL.
So not this year apparently.
via Facebook: "Me-Would love to see you guys play Newport Folk Fest! Ladysmith Black Mambazo - Agree but they haven't asked us."
