Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I've always managed to sneak in a few beers each day. Tend to hide them in our bag with blankets and stuff. I'll recommend Narragansett's Del's Shandy if you're going that route. Local, cheap, and refreshing.
Oh yeah, searches are very lax. We are appreciative.
About the only saving grace here is that we're right on the southern coast and the bay. If this was up in Providence, we're looking at low-mid 90s easily. Interestingly enough, there's a chance of storms listed on Sunday - but further north as well.
Hi all - I love reading all of your lineup insight, predictions, witty banter, etc. so I figured I would look for a buyer here first. I have (4) tickets to Deer Tick on Saturday night available. If anyone is interested in them, send me a DM.

Speaking of aftershows, does anyone have or know anyone with an extra ticket to spirit family reunion and phil cook on Saturday night? Just looking for one.

Hey all -
We have an apt on Jamestown island. Does anyone know the best way to the fort? There are 4 of us so is it better to drive and park? We are doing after shows two nights so I don't think we can take the ferry back?

Lucky bastards! Drive over the bridge. Park.
Ideal would be the Jamestown to Newport ferry but they prob. do not run that late. But... you might be able to play the 'get out of NFF parking jail' card by going to downtown Newport (early), park in a paid lot, and take the ferry over to the fort and back - think its $5 per trip. It can get a little tricky finding parking for late night. If you do not take the ferry option, avoid downtown newport for all your worth - go around. (google maps) When you go into town for late night, check out the streets behind the Blue's. You can find street parking sometimes...
First time writing, so consider this a test of the NFF emergency broadcast system. And don't ask me why I am still up at this hour. But who in the world is this Bonnanoob? I'm a newbie? *s*

Thanks for the tips! Has anyone tried park and bike? We were thinking of doing that and just biking down to the fort then up to the bar. I don't know if they'll spazz out of our car is there late though?
This may sound like an old folks, as in age, question but I only have my mobile app tickets for parking and the three day fest. I know it won't be a problem with the festival. Not sure about the parking?

So I'm staying in Middletown, looks like it'd be easiest just to take the Water Shuttle for $10 roundtrip especially since drop off is right near aftershows. Sound about right to the NFF frequent flyers?

Well, I'm an old folk (hung out at CBGB before Patti Smith), and have been using the parking lots for years -- although if not tethered to a larger group, I would definitely try the ferry at least once. As for parking, the later you arrive, the more "eclectic" spots of grass they will find to lead your car. I'm using the mobile app, though I have paper backup; I think it wise the first year). The parking "areas" are lettered, so remember where you parked. I've worn out shoes looking. And I was barefoot. Finally, if you park some distance away, the bus is quicker from the lot to the Fort, and the people are fun. Going back, lines again, so use your judgment. The walk is pleasant; the wait to get out is not. However, there is more than enough parking space, and more than enough guilt as the bikers chug past.

Quick parking question. The site says there is limited parking at Fort Adams. Is it something that fills up quickly? If you buy a parking pass ahead of time, are you guaranteed a spot?

You will get a spot turtle. That's not an issue. The problem lies with getting out because there is only one exit by car. So you will wait if you get parked on 'the hill'. Like 30 -45 minutes of wait. Everyone but the driver should have emergency vice rations in the cooler in the trunk or in the glove box. Visit the porto's before you get in the car to leave.. Take a good look at maps before you go as well. There are plenty of back roads/side streets that can be used to avoid all but the last bit of traffic on the way in. Out an around is the way to go.
Mentioned before that we hope to have 'home base' EZ ups in the far back to the left when facing the Fort stage, and straight back against the snow fence in the quad, just right of the quad beer prison. We'd love to meet more Roo'sters and happy to share shade if it all works out.
