Ah, thanks. If Lolla somehow got Radiohead - Arcade Fire - LCD, it would blow my mind. I can't even think logically about the situation because it's my three most desired headliners in the world. So, to think that it's actually a reasonable possibility for it to happen is overwhelming for me. If they got those three, I'd pay them however much they wanted, no matter what the undercard.

Actually, cause I've never been, I don't really know much of anything about Lolla but I saw that this will be the first time it is 4 days long. Are people expecting another big name headliner or something smaller? Like, do we know if it'll be another full fledge day with big name artists or will it be like roo, which is. 4 days but Thursday isn't nearly the same scale as the other three

My friend sent that one to me last night, daft punk gave me a laugh, but other than that, it's not too unrealistic other than Vampire Weekend
Edit: also, thanks Slack for answering my question. Do people really expect them to have an artist billed above Radiohead?
Strike Daft Punk, and replace VW with the National (and/or replace Beck with MMJ) and you've a plausible, if flawed (billing-wise) lineup.
Snoop seems like more of a NC get to me. The lineup also has a mysterious lack of Halsey, who is at least a sub.
If Disclosure plays, they're headlining, Ellie gets bumped.
If Chance plays, he'll be higher. He was 24th(!) on the 2014 bill, and 31st on this mock. If anything he's become far larger of a star, and he'd get a hometown bump. I'd wager he subs, or is the #8. (A Chance headlining show would be fucking amazing, btw.)
AnCo and Foals would be higher as well.
I also like the inclusion of one of the kids acts at the bottom (because my 16-year old cousin has played with them at the festival in the past).

what are peoples opinions of halsey on here? i liked her at firefly last year when the crowd was pretty small, she put on a great show and had fun with the crowd. But i feel like now that she's blown up her fan base is becoming lana-del-rey-like and would ruin the show.

I like Halsey personally but she's not necessarily an exciting act to me. I saw her open for Metric and Imagine Dragons last year and she was pretty good live.

IMO musically Halsey isn't really too far different from, say, a Ryn Weaver or Zella Day-type of smaller pop act that was gaining steam last year but partially because of her politics and partially because of her style she blew up with the younger tumblr crowd and it just sort of snowballed from there. My problem is mostly that I prefer those other two artists I mentioned a lot more. Neither one released a song as ridiculous as "New Americana"

Ah I was unaware that they subbed last year. I could see them headlining the smaller of the two main stages possibly. (sorry I don't know the names of any of the stages, I've never been to Lolla)

I like Tame Impala, I just don't think they're bigger than a sub at Lolla.
