I had terrible social skills as a kid and was generally picked on. Always been kinda goofy or clumsy. Laughing at myself is something I've got good at. Also I'm aware I say stupid shit sometimes. You guys cracking on me usually gives me a solid laugh too lol.
Now, not only do I have zero impulse to make fun of you, but I want to make fun of those who do so in the future. Well played, "walaka." You just snagged yourself an alliance.

A fellow on the Lolla boards said that LCD were in, but something happened and it fell through. So that sucks. But hey did you hear the news about Seger touring in 2016?
Macklemore has been pretty silent on these lineup announcements lately. Has he played any other fests to promote this new album? Maybe that one in Germany that was also called Lollapalooza?

Deadmau5 is playing Chicago in late December. If Muse's show two weeks later makes them unlikely, I would guess the same applies to DM. Isn't Pretty Lights due as a headliner?

It's not the show in Chicago that makes them unlikely, there is plenty of precedent for a headliner to play Chicago even just a few months before Lolla. It's more that people we're speculating Muse because they didn't have a Chicago date announced.

I can't quite find the actual post where this was said.

"I believe I can now disclose that I had a legitimate source on LCD being confirmed, and had (usually drunkenly) slipped the info to a few boarders with the clause that "the deal could fall through," and heard back today that the deal fell through."
I don't really know how to do any fancy screen grabs or anything. So if you want to see it, it's on page 28 on the headliner speculation thread.

Oh I can guarantee you they've been trying to expand to two weeks for years but I doubt the city would allow them to occupy Grant Park and it's surrounding streets for that long.
Interested to see how this plays out. I normally go every year but I'm getting hitched that weekend this year. Actually tried to avoid having the wedding the first weekend of August because all 3 (or 4 now) days have never been in July. Of course this year they do it in July and my wedding's the 30th. Selfishly hope the lineup blows. Only way I'll be super pissed is if Tool and GNR play and they dont have their own Chicago tour dates where I can easily see them.
Well the article says 170 bands so I assume that means headliners each night. Also I find it interesting that one of the expansion reasons was a 50% increase in bands wanting to play the fest.
Will they have headliners all four nights? I'm almost certainly doing this this year, because work will be dead during this period so why not.
Their website shows ticket prices as $335 for a 3-day pass and $120 for each day, including Thursday. I'm assuming there will be a headliner on Thursday as well.
