Early on Friday, I like Haelos a lot. But I'm guessing some people probably wants to see Con Brio?
I was planning on HÆLOS but only because I saw them at Coachella. Should I see Con Brio??
Con Brio is very good live but I also think HÆLOS is really good live too (though I like HÆLOS's music more). If I had to take a guess, I'd bet that Con Brio will likely be touring much more in the near future now that their album's out.
What does everyone's schedule look like? Here's mine
Wed: Daughter with Lucy Dacus aftershow
Thur: Jazz Cartier > some combo of Frances and Cloves > Bob Moses > Danny Brown > Tchami > Cashmere Cat > TLSP
Fri: Con Brio (only because I saw HAELOS at the empty bottle earlier in the year, I'll echo the above statements that they put on a great show. This was a tough choice for me) > Saba > Saint Motel for a bit > Joey Purp > RUFUS DU SOL > end of PVRIS > M83 > Radiohead followed by St Lucia aftershow
Sat: Little bit of Lolawolf > Baio > Probably The Joy Formidable but might check out Tory Lanez for a sec since I've already seen TJF > Nathaniel Rateliff > Leon Bridges > Chris Stapleton > end of Houndmouth > Two Door Cinema Club > Disclosure followed by Orchard Lounge aftershow
Sun: Smino > Lapsley > Classixx > end of Marian Hill or Muna > Toyota Music Den for Oh Wonder > Local Natives > Flume > LCD
SOOO PUMPED!!!! Flying from Austin...will be my 8th Lolla, but I have skipped last 2 years.
Thursday - CUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday - Con Brio -> Saint Motel -> Houndmouth/Louis the Child/HEALOS at Vegan or Struts -> then either : Get a Great spot for Radiohead ( Foals / M83 / Radiohead ) Not care about spot for Radiohead ( Lettuce / Duke / GRIZ!!!!!!! / Radiohead)
Saturday - CUBS!!!!! -> Big Gigantic AfterShow!!!!!!!!
Sunday - Sir the Baptist -> D.R.A.M -> FIDLAR -> Louis the Child -> Local Natives -> FLUME!!!!! -> LCD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thursday: Tennyson/Autolux/Hiatus Kaiyote/Melanie Martinez/Danny Brown/Daughter/AlunaGeorge/The Arcs/The Last Shadow Puppets (M83 aftershow) Friday: Haelos/Modern Baseball/Frank Turner/Rufus du Sol/Frightened Rabbit/M83/Radiohead (Wolf Alice aftershow) Saturday: Honeysuckle/Nothing but Thieves/Chairlift/Drowners/Big Grams/Chris Stapleton/2DCC/Grimes/Disclosure (Ghost aftershow or, if it somehow works out, LCD aftershow) Sunday: Lapsley/Classixx/FIDLAR/Years & Years/Local Natives/SSPU maybe/HAIM/Bloc Party/LCD
Kind of surprised - there's typically one token Perry's act I want to see, but nothing was really worth it this year to me. I thought about seeing Joey Purp because I really like iiiDrops but I think there's a roughly 0.001% chance his live show is better than Frank Turner's.

What the fucking shit is this?!?! I registered for the galaxy life thing whenever I registered my wristband (since I have a galaxy phone & i might as well) & apparently it includes a "front row & center" access area to the front of the Samsung stage. This is bullshit. How fair is this to the people waiting all day for radiohead?? I wouldn't mind hitting this up but there is not a chance in hell that I'll be able to get into that area for radiohead. I planned on getting at the Samsung stage before the struts ended to keep a good spot & if lolla plans to fuck me like this is, this will be my first & last lollapalooza.

Shaky Knees had a Samsung area. It wasn't really at he front and I doubt it will be at Lollapalooza. It was a roped off section in front of the soundboard.

Ok I got that email this morning & i didn't know what I was looking at. Thanks for the clarification guys. That's probably true about the crowd for radiohead. Also how many pokestops are we looking at for grant park??
Paul McCartney had the most attended show of last year and was up against The Weeknd, FlyLo, and Kaskade. Though the counter programming favors us it will still be crowded.

Anyone see an update regarding the stream schedule for this weekend? I know redbull does it every year and they listed the bands they'd be showing but I haven't seen anything showing the times.
Edit: Literally just saw Lolla updated their site with the times, nvm.
Pepsi will be doing a giveaway for Nathaniel Rateliff aftershow tickets tomorrow not too far from Grant Park. I will probably stop by there and then head in. The first show I want to see is Bob Moses, I'll be at Lolla solo tomorrow if anyone wanted to meet up.
Oh, right. I'm planning on wearing my unicorn headband all four days of this festival (at least, when it's not raining). It has rainbow colored ears. I'm guessing that the chances of anyone else wearing one are pretty slim.
After watching a probably hour long snap story from a very old friend who I never see and really need to unfriend (or unadd or whatever) Kanye came out for Drake and Future last night. I REALLY hope I don't miss a Kanye appearance AGAIN because I'm seeing someone worth seeing not whatever subpar rapper he is showing up for. Who knows, maybe him and Chance will come out for Joey Purp
