Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Moving on, here's to hoping Flight Facilities gets an after show. I really want to see them in a dark setting, and ACL simply just doesn't offer that for its non-HL/pre-HL acts.
Was on the bar for them at Coachella 2014 and caught a shirt they threw in the crowd. Owl Eyes came out for Crave You and she is the most beautiful woman I've seen in my life.
Bonnaroo '15/'16/'17/'18/'19 - ACL '13/'14/'15/'17/'18 - Fun Fun Fun '14 - SXSW '13/'14/'15 - FPSF '16
2019 Shows: 4/30 - Vampire Weekend 6/28 - Father John Misty & Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit 9/6 - Cardi B w/ Teyana Taylor 9/28 - Vulfpeck w/ The Fearless Flyers
Will be going to ACL weekend one for the first time. Top part of the lineup is decent but it was the middle part that drew me in. A lot of acts that I've been wanting/planning on going to see were listed and figured this was a great way to knock them all out. Showed this lineup to my festival buddy in Vegas and he really dug the lineup. His birthday also happens to fall over weekend one so we're making a trip out of it.
My fall activities are slowly starting to take shape. The small radio-hosted Bite of Vegas festival happens in early September, Life Is Beautiful festival happens 2 weeks later, and then ACL a week after that!

Although nothing extremely special, this line up works for me! I counted out thirty seven acts I would see. I am not a Radiohead fan at all, so I wish there was a bigger name (IMO) in the top line.
To the poster before who posted a prediction on the headliners, here is what I would like:
Radiohead v LCD Mumford v Major Lazer Kendrick v Kygo
The real crime is that Willie Nelson and Kacey Musgraves are playing different weekends, though I appreciate that every major American festival that has booked Chris Stapleton has booked at least one other act that has 'Staple' in their name.

I totally missed Kacey Musgraves.
No clue what weekend I'm doing. I've been busy all day so I haven't even properly looked at the line up yet. Really comes down to whether or not I can make Oldchella work at all. ACL is just so much more convenient since I live here, but I just can't give up on my Oldchella dreams yet.
I think it's a combination of people preferring to see the acts' first performance instead of 'second helpings', plus the second weekend's short history seems to be plagued by weather troubles, with a third-day cancellation in '13, and a storm on the 2nd day of '14. I know that's why my buddy was slightly hesitant for weekend 2, but we both agreed the lineup is better then, and I think that's by design. The company wants to provide a higher incentive to sell out wk2, so they make it better, or just add a Lorde to it, like '14.
EDIT: and also what KevMan said, forgot about that part. Even when I always see tons of people in the tents watching the games.

Our baby is gonna be a newborn by the time this festival comes around, and since my fiancee's family lives in Austin, we'll need to visit Austin anyway to let everybody meet baby Bowie. This looks like the perfect opportunity to visit, especially with Weekend 2 being my birthday weekend, so we may do it if we can find the money (although it may be weekend 1 since Andrew Bird is my fiancee's favorite artist). It all depends on how easy/doable it is to travel with such a fresh baby...custeph, Madeline, Dave Maynar, all the other parents out there--y'all got any advice on the practicality of travelling with a newborn babe? Ultimately it'll be up to Liat, but I'd like to hear you guys' thoughts. Is it not doable at all?

How new of a newborn are we talking? o'neil is a good resource too.

Both of my boys went to the beach at about 6 weeks old & they were champs. It was about a 5+ hour drive. I took Emma to Arkansas when she was 3 mos old for my grandma's funeral. That was 10+ hrs, and it was rough. But I was by myself with her. Held her little hand behind me from Nashville to SC. If you're driving, as long as you aren't by yourself & don't mind many pit stops, you will be fine. Baby Bowie will snooze the entire time more than likely. I have never flown with them though, but the same should apply
And Dave Maynar is right. G & o'neil are pros at traveling with little babies. Salt Lake City to SC is a long ass drive, and they made it several times.
At a month, Bowie will still be sleeping a lot of the time so you should be just fine. I flew with Mason when he was only a month and had no problems other than being an exhausted new mom. If she's nursing it's even easier because there are no bottles to wash. I have never done a fest with a baby though, so I'm not much help there! I'd recommend a sling or some other kind of wrap over a stroller though. Cannot wait to see that baby A$AP Rosko!
yep, I think traveling with babies in the newborn to 6 months age range is almost the easiest until maybe age 6 or 7, because they do sleep a ton. the caveat being with nursing, you can get into cluster feeding around the 3 week mark so that could be a factor for travel. are y'all driving or flying? I've done both with littles and I definitely think both are easily doable.
I second a wrap or sling, or even an SSC with infant insert over a stroller for the actual fest (and also through the airport, if you're flying). I think our youngest has spent maybe an hour of his life total in a stroller but many of them in a carrier and it is so much easier.
if you need specific advice or have any general questions in the newborn period let me know! I spent years doing primary care peds and I'm a certified breastfeeding advisor so I'm happy to help if I can!

Anderson .Paak, Eagulls, and Slaves make weekend two my preferred weekend. Willie and Conor Oberst also help. I wish Basia Bulat and AlunaGeorge were going to be there.

also, congrats!
thank you!!! yeah, i may definitely hit you up for specific advice if we decide to do it. we're pretty squarely on the fence. Liat loves the idea of a boba wrap, even aside from this festival, but I will say that we wouldn't be taking the babe (the babe with the power of voodoo) to the actual festival, we'd likely leave him with liat's mother (who lives in austin). like i said though, we're on the fence. we may be too tired at that point in time to even think about travelling.

sure, anytime. that newborn exhaustion is definitely a thing. +1 (and also -1/2 for the sad) for the Labyrinth reference.

Decided to forgo Bonnaroo this year so I can see Radiohead at ACL. Found a round trip flight for less than $150 and impulsively bought it. Austin here I come!!

What wahhht I second the above comment. My friends are trying to get me to go to this, and I'd LOVE to go, but the cheapest round trip flight I can find is over $400.
