Anyways, yea, underwhelming, but not bad. Wonder if Ryan Adams & Death Cab will be the cross over with Roo from the top couple of lines. Would be too soon for both Avetts & Shakes.
Well, disappointed is the emotion I'm having most right now. I've seen all the acts on that list that I'm interested in and the rest don't do much for me.
Anyone want to go to The Gorge that weekend instead?

Haha I had the same reaction - wow I know pretty much every single name. But I've also already seen a lot of what I would want to from this.

I enjoy a lot of these bands but for fucks sake, you gotta mix up the lineup a bit. Avetts and shakes are really weak headliners. There's some good stuff on here, just nothing really pops out at you. Nothing unique. Nothing to get excited about. Just the same old bullshit you expect to see on lineups for fests this size. With additions and a good schedule I could see myself getting a day pass for Ryan Adams, but I can also see myself skipping this one all together for the 2nd straight year.
My thoughts as well. Interested to see what the next round of additions bring. Depending on that and where I end up in May after graduating is what comes down to me making the trip.
Ryan Adams, Death Cab, Glass Animals, Moon Taxi, Shakey Graves....even though I have seen most of the acts that I am interested in on the lineup, I could still see it being a fun weekend.

Yup. 2015 was pretty recycled too. Seems to be the new old thing to do.

They're also reposting and trying to win tickets. I doubt that AC would pick the "I want to win tickets so I don't have to pay $150 to listen to NPR all weekend" comment.

Totally agree. It's very boring and by-the-numbers, but I dig a lot of these bands. Throw in a few solid additions in january or february and I'll be more than happy taking a weekend off down the road for a festival I really have come to enjoy a lot.
Unless Bunbury really nails their lineup this year and I can just stay home and not pay for a hotel.
Yeah, this would look completely different/much better with the two top names replaced...dang it...I guess the Avetts continue to draw, but I burned out on them long ago....
