Apparently them and Beverly Tender were the only drop outs this go-round. All Dogs, Wing Dam, and Pie Faced Girls were added. I'd almost expect a few more additions, honestly. Fletcher seems pretty bleak on Friday night.

I think Thursday and Friday worked out pretty well for what I want to do. Have to go through and figure out what to do Sunday after Sylvan Esso. Also glad to see the Amphitheater shows are early and it'll make it easy to see Gary Clark Jr.
Thanks, Sound on Sound, for helping to clear a few conflicts. The only one that's left is All Dogs/ D. Bachman. I have All Dogs down but may switch it up. Especially if Yowler got a day show or something.
Demdike Stare were missing from the schedule before, right?
I kept looking at my schedule and feeling like I was missing one of my top 10. I couldn't remember who it was until they showed up on the schedule. I wonder what they'll be doing visual-wise. First time I saw them/what turned me on to them was the Big Ears 2015 set with the live score to Haxan.

Yup. Both them and Ricky Eat Acid were missing from the first schedule. I only know this because I was looking at the first show there of the night.
I'll be a first-time attendee this year, so I hope you all don't mind a few questions.
1.) How long are the club sets typically? The schedule seems to suggest 30 minute pre-headliner sets, but I'm guessing they're probably closer to 40-45 minutes? How long do headliners play? 12:30 - 2? Also, how long is the City Plaza headlining set? 90 minutes?
2.) I've been to Raleigh before for shows at Red Hat, and I've walked around downtown. Are CAM/Fletcher the farthest walks (if so, not bad at all)? Which venues tend to fill up the fastest? If, for example, if I check out some Young Thug, would I probably not be able to get into Car Seat Headrest? Or is that more of an issue for smaller venues?
3.) VIP looks tempting. Has anyone with VIP been unable to get into a venue?
4.) I keep reading about day shows in reviews of previous years. Is this mostly spontaneous or is there a schedule for those sets?

Thanks, everyone!
1 & 2)I usually assume 45 minute to an hour club shows. Those hour long shows are rare though (pending on who is playing). You usually have enough time to make the next show on your list seeing all of one and walking to the next. There are some variables though.
CAM to Fletcher is a hike. Actually, anything at CAM is a hike. You're looking at a 10-15 minute walk between the two. I'm also betting that YT and the later shows at the CAM hit capacity. If I were doing either of those, do CAM for the night. It's a great all ages space and that lineup is superb for that night.
City Plaza should be over by 10ish. That's what I plan on at least.
3) I've only been VIP once and never had to use it for capacity shows. nolefromde probably has a better answer for that. Even going GA you can get in no problem, it just takes some planning (and light jogging). I've only ever been shut out a hand full of times from shows.
4) Day parties are the shit. They get announced a few weeks before the festival and help with some of those early in the night conflicts. Most have set times when announced too.
Last year was my first year so I can only speak to that for VIP. There wasn't a show last year that I wasn't able to get into. There were a few club shows we went to last year where there was a pretty long line that we were able to walk into (once a couple people left) after maybe 30 seconds or so. Thought it was worth it enough to get VIP again this year, plus it isn't really that much more than a regular ticket.

I still think some will go over that. Especially the closing ones. It seems like they just wanted to get the app out there and just put an arbitrary number for end time.
I couldn't get the app to work on Android...oh well
If you had it still on your phone, it was mentioned on Twitter that you have to delete it and reinstall. It's really last years app with changed dates/artists/venues.

Yeah I saw that. I had it on my phone for the festival last year but then deleted it shortly after. It loading with the 2015 information. I'll probably try again closer to the festival.
Think I'm going to volunteer for this on Saturday and then hit the fest the rest of the days. Car seat headrest butting into julien baker is killer. Luckily I caught her at cats cradle earlier this year. Excited to finally see wolf parade. Looking forward to doing a festival in my hometown.

Yeah, I don't know what I'm gonna do that night :/ Adia Victoria & Julien Baker or Beach Slang & Car Seat Headrest & Twin Peaks. If it wasn't for Car Seat, I'd choose Adia/Julien in a heartbeat. But Teens of Denial is one of my favorite albums this year. UGH decisions decisions
