Hi all, a friend and I just bought tickets to Hopscotch! We've been both going through festive withdrawal, my last one other than Virgin FreeFest (I live in Maryland) was Forecastle in 2013! This was a bit of a last-minute decision but we got a room at the Holiday Inn, tickets, and are taking Amtrak there. Inforoo always holds a place in my heart and it's awesome to have a reason to be back here posting again!

Awesome! Sheraton was booked by time we decided (just got back from a two-week cross country trip), glad to know we made a good decision! Psyched to get back into festie mode!

I know you already know this but just remember to pace yourself, hit those day parties (even if you don't know the names), and late night hot dogs are teh best.
Either way, I'm pretty sure the VIP party was an open bar last year so it's worth it.

I'm trying to move the weekend before this and figure out the money stuff and I can't, but fuck it. Ready to hang out and listen to music for three straight days.

Moving one town over to Durham. I had planned on Labor Day weekend, but a.) don't have a place yet and b.) not sure I really have the money for it yet.
Was thinking of getting a room for Hopscotch, but I can't find anyone who wants to go in on one and doing one solo's a little much (though, if I don't move that weekend, I may damn well do it).

It's not Cobalt, believe it or not. I have Cobalt AND CSH within a few days after the fest. I'm thinking Beach Slang into the end of Adia Victoria and then Julian Baker. I may also end up getting cozy for Promise Land Sound and Gun Outfit. I'm just waiting on parties to kill off a few remaining conflicts.
You're right though. That's one hell of a one/two punch.
