I'm already bummed about that conflict. Really hoping he ends up playing/collaborating at that show. If he does, count on me being there from Vhöl into Converge.
The part of the schedule that has got me is Friday night.
I got Young Thug at 11:00, DJ Spinn/The Era at 11:30, and Demdike Stare at midnight, all three probably in my top five for the fest. Going to just play it by ear that night and see how I'm vibing to what. I think the Spinn/Era show will be one of the best of the festival (and especially on Lincoln's sound system, which I think is one of the best in town), so I'm definitely trying to make at least some of it.

Actually started checking out Wing Dam yesterday and created the same conflict for myself. I guess it'll be easier for me since Wolf Parade with be at MidPoint festival 2 weeks later though.
New Young Thug and Vince Staples out today. Both are great.
Telling myself I'm going to take it easy at the day parties, but I'm starting to realize there's no way that's gonna happen. Ready to fucking CUT LOOSE.

That is a pretty nice deal although I wish it extended to Flatstock as well.
Well$ and Ace Henderson are both really great songwriters and really great performers. Two of the brightest lights in NC music, hip-hop or otherwise, IMO. If you've got spots open in your schedule and enjoy hip-hop, I recommend both (they're also both playing the hip-hop day party at The Pour House on Friday).
KONVOI are playing several day parties, as well as Saturday night at Slim's. Highly recommend. Killer post-punk out of Asheville.

I'm kicking off my weekend with Konvoi. Really excited to see them finally as I've heard nothing but good things.
Still having issues with Saturday nights schedule. Part of my head says Adia Victoria and Julien Baker. Another part says Gun Outfit and Promised Land Sound.
Then there's Inga Copeland that's pulling strings.
My heart is saying "F*ck it" and just go see Beach Slang > Car Seat Headrest and YOB. All of which I've seen in the past year and all of which own the stage. This may really come down to a game time decision and how tired I am.

Couldn't make any of the trainings and decided I couldn't miss Vince Staples after the new EP dropped so no longer volunteering Saturday and bought a ticket. I'll be there all 3 days. Soooooo excited.
