any chance LCD plays this? My plan is to go to a fall fest they will be at and would love to hit up Vodoo. Really dont want to have to go to ACL to see them if i dont have to.
I'm down if they don't play their fucking music videos the whole show again.
Rather have Maiden x100
Dude... C'mon... Maybe it's cus uve seen them as often as u have but idc what they play. Just play ur amazing f*cking music. I thought their visuals were the coolest thing I've seen live when I saw them in January. Again, first time seeing them though.
Ne215- I'm sure LCD will be there. They are the festi whores of 2016. Also satisfies Voodoo's desire to appeal to molly munching millennials.
Zaj- I think Iron Maiden is just a far superior band compared to Tool in every way. Tool is great, but until they come out with another great album I'm pretty over them.

June 22nd. That St Jean de Baptiste day is when the lineup gets dropped, usually.
EDIT: I usually believe Launchpad, because he hasn't been completely wrong as of yet, but I am skeptical about this one. Only because they played in January.
They wanted to book Tool last year, but got cockblocked by Monster Mash. It makes total sense that they got them this year. Let's just hope they don't try to pull that EDM headliner shit again by inviting Deadmau5 back or with booking Calvin Harris. We dodged a bullet last year with sunday cancelled and getting refunded for the shittiest day of music.

Deadmau5 • Tool • Arcade Fire would be the best top three this year of any festival so fack no.
Yeap, no Deadmau5 needed, LCD will be playing and will be way hettier.
LCD on the mainstage will be acceptable, whereas Deadmousefive is weak. I mean, there is already an equivalent EDM stage, why does that shit have to take over the main?

Launchy was wrong about Radiohead at Wayhome.
And how many others has he been correct on? Even the most reliable sources get shit wrong once in a blue moon. He has been way more right then wrong, my skepticism comes more from the fact that they played in January then it coming from "Launchy," even if they tried to get them last year and it fell through. I 100% hope he is correct, everyone knows my love of Tool.

I hope to be there also if it happens! Just keep expectations low.

Always with Voodoo. I remember a time when that wasn't the case. *sad panda*

LCD has to be the most overrated festival whoring act in quite some time. NOLA knows better than to let that riff raff come.

Other than 4 minutes of a live show, I know 0 else about them. I would see them barring a conflict at Le Plur but that's curiosity based. If we are getting Tool, all I need is 4-5 other shows per day at any part of the card.
If he got this right, he should go all Darkwing Duck.

Here's an idea. Since you're still teething and likely haven't seen ANY of these acts being discussed, how about keeping these ludicrous opinions to yourself?
LCD is most definitely being overrated, as in they were never close to being headliner worthy before their breakup, which in hindsight seems more like an excellent business strategy than anything else.
LCD is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Assnectar, Pretty Lights, DJ Guyonlaptop et. al
