Well Watson did go 12th overall, but surprisingly not the Browns
Way to go Sang, his career won't go to shit
It's a good spot for him. Playoff team with a star wr that also played for Clemson. I'm a Texas fan now. The Bears and Browns fucked up and I'm not sure why the Chiefs did what they did? I'm interested in Mccaffery in Carolina. That could be good.
We got him!!! Maybe not the brightest idea giving away our 1st and 2nd for next year to basically swap Brock for Watson, but I think he'll be good, and we get to be in win-now-rebuild mode without having to blow anything up anymore.

At the least, you'll be in the playoffs. We all know what Watson does in the playoffs.
The talk of Josh Dobbs going in Round Two (and the hype over maybe being a Round one guy) makes me think too many NFL guys don't watch college football or pay attention to their college scouts advice.
Lawn Gnome and snowman, what say you? I've already said I was confused by the high draft hype for Dobbs. I want to complete the set of people who follow Tennessee.

Easy, tiger. You act like he never lost in the playoffs.
I agree it's a good place for him to land. The Texans have been a qb away from being way better for years now. The rub for Watson comes in the form of expectations being sky high for him due to this and them being increased even further by what Prescott did last year as a rookie.

Look at his stats for the game that he lost. He was great in every big game. I'm not expecting that to change in the NFL.

Dobbs can't throw long balls very well. Even on short passes he can be incredibly inaccurate at times. I've never been a QB, so I don't want to comment on his "mechanics" but there seems to be something off in the way he throws.
That being said, he is incredibly smart, tenacious, and has pretty good downfield vision and can create space with his feet. With the right team (ie: good receivers) and a good QB coach I think he could be good. But I also think he could be a total bust.
I see more potential for him as a QB in the NFL than Tim Tebow, but I don't think he could transition to like, RB or WR or anything. Only a couple guys have seen success as runing QBs in the NFL, and I don't think Dobbs is a Cam Newton.

I love Josh Dobbs. I loved watching him play for the Vols and I was genuinely sad when I left the Music City Bowl knowing it was his last game in orange (and sometimes grey) and white.
That being said, I don't understand his draft stock. I just don't see him being a great QB prospect. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that there are hardly any franchise QB prospects in the draft. (I think this explains Chicago's weird trade for Trubisky.) I think in a different draft with more stud QB prospects his stock would be much more tenuous.
But hey, if the guy gets paid to play football a few more years, good for him.

The Chicago trade appears ridiculous on its face but if there was real or imagined competition for the spot, I can see why they paid so much. If you think that he's gonna be The Guy, you don't want to let someone jump over you to get him. I'd say that San Francisco did a great job of capitalizing on the situation and won the trade but I don't know that Chicago necessarily lost the trade.
Lattimore falling to 11? Love it. OT at 32 was a typical Loomis move, though. Feeling good about this offseason so far
You should feel good about the Kamara pick. He's the kind of back Payton loves.
I have no worries regarding our running backs now. Between AP, Ingram, and now Kamara.. Hopefully Ramczyk can help open holes for them.
Love Lattimore. Like the safety help. But we haven't really addressed our edge rusher needs enough. This athletic white dude Hendrickson might be too little too late
Also, we apparently really wanted Mahomes. And obviously Foster.
Totally unrelated. It's weird that Clemson won a national championship, but other than the 2 high picks, we've only had one guy taken. We've had past drafts with many more players taken.

The Bills haven't drafted in a couple rounds. They're sure to take a Tiger.

Right after that we had 2 more picked. Houston now has 4 Tigers. Wayne Gallman will be a good backup for the Giants. But I'm not even sure who their starter is? 3 Clemson players in the last 13 picks since I said that. Finally someone took Jordan Leggett. Too bad it had to be the Jets. Those 3 picks kinda changed things best Clemson draft in a long time
Redskins just took a kicker in the 5th rd. Does everyone laugh at them like in fantasy drafts?
I was more surprised by who they picked than when they picked. I would've thought the AZ kicker would've gone first. But generally, no, you don't need to use a pick on a kicker.
Yes, great pick for the Bills! Excited for Nate Peterman to head to Buffalo.
Me too. I'm surprised that they picked anyone at all but he seemed like the way to go towards the back half of the draft if they were picking one up at all.
Does not bode well for Cardale Jones but I suppose that they might get to a place where they jettison TJ Yates and have Jones be QB2 this season...
