[EDIT - WTF... Inforoo has a regular expression set to replace c-o-c-k]. In all seriousness, though. He made the Robyn Hitchcock film, "Storefront Hitchcock." It'd be great to have a set by Robyn!
.. Gravity Hill Sound+Image. Cohen will join forces with a special selection of versatile and adventurous musicians to collaboratively explore image and sound in a wide range of combinations: scored and improvised, indoor and outdoor, quiet and loud. Collaborators will include Jace Clayton, Guy Picciotto, festival alumni Xylouris White, Jessica Moss, Matana Roberts, Todd Griffin, Katherine McRae, Mira Billotte, and multimedia tech team, Dawn of Man, who will be projection mapping site-specific images on Knoxville architecture throughout the weekend.
When did Magnetic Fields get moved to Saturday/Sunday instead of Friday/Saturday? Was planning to go on Friday because shockingly all 3 acts I was really wanting to catch turned up on that day but now don't think I will. Glad I hadn't bought the ticket yet!

Oh what the shit? I was loving the idea of Friday only too.

Tough conflicts. I'm starting to make a little peace with what I'm missing.
First rough draft.
Thursday: Ahleuchatistas > Dave Harrington Group > Matana Roberts > Anna Merideth > Bobby Kapp & Matthew Shipp > Blonde Redhead/ACME
Friday: Meredith Monk: Book Of Days > Shane Parish > Frederic Rzewski > Matthew Shipp > Richard Teitelbaum > Michael Hurley > Wilco > Lætitia Sadier > Tortoise
Saturday: Glenn Kotche > Six Organs Of Admittance > Jeff Tweedy Meets Chickamorachi > (end of) Xylouris White > Horse Lords > Magnetic Fields > Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith > Supersilent
Sunday: Rachel Grimes > Magnetic Fields
Past that, I'll see. Gonna play it loose Sunday afternoon, I think.

Some of my conflicts would actually work if the Mill & Mine wasn't so far away from everything (but the Standard)! Hopefully they'll make some minor adjustments before the event, as I'm particularly sad to cut some of the shows I'm seeing short, as well as missing some "must see" artists...
Here's my tentative schedule:
Thursday 03:45 PM - 05:00 PM: Jem Cohen: Benjamin Smoke (Regal) 05:45 PM - 06:30 PM: Nief-Norf: Performing Pauline Oliveros & Michael Gordon (Mill & Mine) 06:40 PM - 07:30 PM: Ahleuchatistas (Standard) 07:40 PM - 08:30 PM: Dave Harrington Group (Mill & Mine) 09:30 PM - 10:30 PM: Anna Meredith (Mill & Mine) 11:30 PM - 01:00 AM: Blonde Redhead Performs ‘Misery is a Butterfly’ (Mill & Mine)

Fingers crossed for Saltlands.
On second thought, fingers crossed for nothing. I'm already rearranging for Instrument, as is.
Any locals have a couch for me to crash on Thursday night? I'll be flying solo, and just need the one night.
You can't find anything, shoot me text. I got a hotel just outside of downtown. I'd like to think of my personality as being better than a couch but I may be wrong on that.
So this Jackson Terminal is in Old Town? I can't really tell judging by the map.
