Any locals have a couch for me to crash on Thursday night? I'll be flying solo, and just need the one night.
You can't find anything, shoot me text. I got a hotel just outside of downtown. I'd like to think of my personality as being better than a couch but I may be wrong on that.
So this Jackson Terminal is in Old Town? I can't really tell judging by the map.
The Old City, yes. I saw a show there right after it opened. They are doing the right thing using it more as an event space than a straight music venue.

It's on my list now, for sure. The only other one that really interests me is the Festivals Like This: an Exploration into the Innovative with The Quietus & Le Guess Who? on Friday. Provided I can figure out where that's at.

Do I know you, n00b?
But seriously, I'd be happy to crash with you. I'll buy your meal at the brunch. Speaking of which, anyone organized that yet?

They are starting to switch that schedule up. On Fillmore has been bumped up to overlap with Rachel Grimes. Sad. They were one of the few things I was excited on after Magnetic Fields.

So many shows I have to skip because of the "10+ min before the show starts" requirement for VIP seating combined with the jaunt between the Mill & Mine & the Bijou! (Yeah, I know, first world problems and all that).

Looks like I am going to go in on a Friday pass. I see that all the tickets say "subject to capacity"...I would be fine for Wilco as long as I am around by the time Michael Hurley starts, right?

You'll be fine, imo. Tennessee is the largest of the lot and super easy to get into. Especially if you're there for Michael Hurley.
E: pretty sure that won't matter, actually. Betting they clear the venues in between for Premiere pass holders. Still shouldn't be a problem though.
Say i was ending my nights mostly around The Standard/Mill & Mine/Old City area. Is there a parking lot in that vicinity or is my best bet to park in the garages?

One of the Jackson Ave lots would do you good. They're both surface lots, but you shouldn't have any issues at the time of night you will be there.

As I mentioned already, I'm still miffed about the 10 min before the show rule for the VIP tickets. That, combined with the distance between the Mill/Standard & Bijou, is killing me. It's making the difference between catching at least 30 minutes of an overlapped artist, to completely missing them. Other schedule changes: Hans-Joachim Roedelius was moved to Sat afternoon... so now I can see all of Jóhann Johannsson’s “Drone Mass," (awesome!) but I do have to cut Roedelius' set short to meet the 10 min deadline for MEV (and Tweedy's set with the 10 min deadline for Roedelius). Happy that Lisa Moore now has an early Saturday show, so now I get to catch one of her sets! Now that I'm looking closer, there have been a bunch of schedule changes... going to need to reassess (especially Saturday).

I know it's not everyone's style, but I strongly recommend considering bringing/renting a bicycle. Been hauling mine from out of town for three years now and I've never once regretted it. I can get from the Mill & Mine to the Bijou in less than 5 minutes.
