Anyone know how much the first release of tickets are regular and VIP? I'm thinking about doing VIP this year can anyone say from experience if VIP is worth extra dough?

Any ideas how they will schedule this? I really want to see sci, mmj, disclosure, umph and sts9 but it's hard for me to imagine that none of those bands will conflict. Kinda puts the lineup in perspective ya know. Thoughts?

Last year they had Dopapod during Pretty Lights, New Mastersounds during Chance the Rapper, and TAUK during STS9.
There may be conflicts, but doubtful among the "headliners" themselves. SCI usually goes unopposed, but Goldfish has a surprise Spirit Lake set during/between SCI halloween sets last year.

I like Tribe and PL, but not as much as I like TAUK and Dopapod. Still got to catch the last 30 min or so of PL and Tribe after the other sets ended. Everything is so close at Suwannee.

SOSMP experts: is this the first time MMJ plays there?
I'm no expert, but I think so. For some reason your question triggered a faint memory of someone commenting about playing a long while back. But I searched various groups that I am a part of on Facebook (a few MMJ and a few SOSMP related), but the only mention I saw was someone (who probably is an expert) saying "My Morning Jacket finally at Suwannee" and no one corrected him.

Somehow I was in this thread and stalking this fest on FB, but forgot to get tickets at 10 AM! Anyways, just got my ticket. The first two levels were already sold out. Advance Ticket, Tier 1 for $239.
And tronik JAX is definitely the closest. I am still trying to figure out my week, but likely won't be flying to/from the festival, but would be coming/going to/from my sisters or Atlanta or something because I am making a bigger trip out of it.

Besides someone's radio, this will be the first time MMJ plays SOSMP, unless they were there like 10+ years ago.

Maybe some of you good people out there can help me figure couple things out and if not well at least I can air some frustrations. The Spirit of the Suwanee music park is an 800 acre park and while attending last year's festival it was obvious that the attendance had grown from previous years but never did it feel like it was congested or overcrowded but this year they have chosen to Attendance at 20,000 and I'm not sure why. I know music festivals with 35,000 capacity that doesn't have half the space that the Suwannee has. Just doesn't make sense to me. On top of that I have to pay an extra $20 to for a car pass this year to again help fight congestion??? I'm still pumped for Hula and got my ticket today but I had to pay a total of $289 and this was 15-20mins after tickets went on sale when last year I think I paid around $250 total and didn't buy my ticket till late August. Maybe it's just me but I feel Hula reduced the number of tickets in each tier because they got money hungry.
