Weather.com 10-day forecast says it will be brutally hot all of Roo, Accuweather is saying we are going to get hit with storms on Saturday. I know....it's still too early for a reputable forecast and both those sites suck, but nevertheless.
I love The Beach Boys. I've seen them before but it's been many years. And I couldn't possibly care any less about this year's headliners...so yes, yes I would rather have them. Lol.
Ditto. I've never seen Pearl Jam, so if you couple that with the fact that I was a teenager when Ten cam out and they were at their peak, I won't mind seeing them. I was more into Nirvana and Soundgarden in the grunge days - my mom was a big PJ/Eddie Vedder fan, which automatically made them less cool.
I LOVED The Beach Boys in 2012. I expected to only know a few songs but I'll be damned if I don't know almost every one.
Weather.com is now pushing the chance of rain at 0% through Sunday, 60% on Monday. Just what I was hoping for, four days of living like bacon followed by trying to tear down camp in a thunder storm.
I actually love driving in storms. It's so peaceful. The weather is starting to look better and better.
I'm fine with driving in it, it's the packing all the wet shit up, getting covered in mud and then putting my wet ass in a car for twelve hours that I'm not a fan of.

If it rains as I'm breaking down camp Monday morning...I'm coming looking for you!
I think 3 out of the last 4 times I've used my tent, it was wet on break down day. Meaning I have to set all that shit up again as soon as I get home, ugh.
Danbob, you are personally responsible. I hope you're ready for it.

Oh yeah I definitely agree with that. Let's hope it holds off until we're on the road.

I will accept the responsibility. I'm hope it starts Just after I'm done packing everything up.
I was holding out for a calmer forecast from the NWS...looking nice early. Interested to see what it has come Monday.
Also, I second how miserable it is to take down camp during a storm. Went thru that in 2012. In 2013, we literally had everything ready except for out tent and cots when we left for centroo on Sunday. That's the way to go.
We do the breakdown Sunday night where all we have isnthe tent to break down before hitting the road
I think the low temps are worth mentioning too...right now, from Thurs-Sun, the low is in the upper 50s or low 60s, which should mean clear skies at night and low humidity...low humidity is key, it rained here yesterday for just a second, and the humidity afterwards was brutal...
Sort of off topic but how are allergies at bonnaroo?
Dust can be a doozy. And it is a farm. If you have pollen allergies it can suck. Asthmatic and the humidity/pollen/dust combo can be a bitch. Sudafed, zyrtec, inhaler are must haves for me.

My shit is pretty serious at home so I double at Roo to just be safe. Can't ever have too many inhaler, and I keep an inhaler in my car, at the camp and in my camelback.

I'm allergic to everything (no exaggeration) and I have asthma, but for some reason, in 10 years of going, I have never had issues at Roo. But I live in the Nashville area, so maybe I am used to the allergens. I have taken Zyrtec every morning though and always have my inhaler with me, just in case. A few months ago, I stopped taking Zyrtec and switched to Antronex (a natural supplement) which is working for me very well, but Roo will be the true test. Bringing the Zyrtec just in case!
