The Killers are rumored to be at Music Midtown this year so they're probably out.
Hopes for 2017: LCD, Black Keys, Of Monsters and Men, Bjork, Sufjan Stevens, Father John Misty, Of Montreal, Beirut, Beach House, Yo La Tengo, Foxygen, Gary Clark Jr., Grouplove, J Roddy, Julia Holter, Moon Taxi, the New Pornographers. Maybe they can bring Wilco back and give them the headlining slot they deserved.
It's pretty likely that Fleet Foxes will end their hiatus soon, so if we're really lucky they could be playing. Also wondering if they'll use the same location next year. I hope they just put it in Piedmont Park.

This festival has achieved blind buy status for me. I'd be okay with a top line of Beck---Arctic Monkeys---Bon Iver
Undercard: Courtney Barnett, Fleet Foxes, Future Islands, The War on Drugs, OMAM, Lord Huron, Sharon Van Etten, Royal Blood, Foxygen, Spoon, Two Door Cinema Club, Chet Faker

I think we will be seeing Fleet Foxes next year at some festivals. Granted, they won't have Josh Tillman anymore as he's big on his own now as FJM and hasn't kept in contact with Robin. But there's enough evidence to believe that Fleet Foxes will be ending their hiatus soon and recording new music.
LCD - Fleet Foxes - Wilco would make me lose my shit. Too bad that's only a dream.
Oops, didn't know that about The Killers. Then, yeah, throw in Black Keys or KOL or somebody like that.
In a similar vein, Dinosaur Jr. announced a new album and tour. They have an Atlanta stop but it's in like August; would it be too soon for them to come back around for Shaky Knees?

I would say they're probably out just because they are #3 on the Wrecking Ball's lineup... A little too high to be on another festival the next year.
I don't think that the Black Keys will be touring next year. Their tour for Turn Blue lasted a long time and I haven't heard anything about them putting together a new album anytime soon, not to mention the Arcs are touring this year (maybe we'll see them at this festival next year).
Maybe this year we can get two bridges; an eastbound and a westbound. That would really help with congestion between sets. Or maybe the fully embrace the "death" theme and stack one container on top of the other.

They just need to make the bridge about 5 feet wider and more stable. They should totally make the bridge more interesting to be inside of though. Add some artwork to the inside, make the sides see-through plastic or something.

Anything to allow more people through would be great. I love where your head is at with the plastic but it would lead to a bigger traffic jam with people stopping to take pictures looking down Marietta Street (probably?).
But it would be pretty rad to return the container to the CSX lot with a giant Molly Rose Freeman mural inside of it. Or hell, call it the Krog Bridge and let everyone tag it.

If Beck/LCD/VW make-up two of the three headliners with a solid undercard, I would probably make the trip back.
I think Sturgill Simpson is a good possibility for this year. He didn't book any GA shows for the A Sailor's Guide to Earth tour over the summer and fall.
Had a great time at SK the past two years despite only liking 2 headliners (Strokes & Avetts), it's the undercard that makes it (Noel Gallagher, Interpol, Wolf Alice, Foals, Vaccines, Ryan Adams my favorites). That said, 3 headliners that were my cup of tea would certainly be welcome: Arcade Fire / KoL / Vampire Weekend
