Supposedly The xx are playing Roo so I doubt they'd be at this too if that's true.
Hello everyone! Longtime Lolla boarder, first time Roo boarder....
From what I've heard, Roo, Hangout and Shaky Knees are being pretty picky as to who can play more than one of those three fests. There are/will be obvious exceptions to this rule, but last year had very few crossovers. This would be why Shaky Knees was so rock heavy last year and Hangout sticking more to pop, hip hop, edm, etc.
With that said, I'm thinking acts like Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes land on Roo's lineup and acts like Soundgarden and Metallica (surprisingly) land on Shaky Knees. However, I can't see a bill as top heavy as Metallica/LCD Soundsystem/Phoenix/Soundgarden. That's quite the leap from Florence/My Morning Jacket/Jane's Addiction/The 1975.

It looks like Fleet Foxes won't be doing US shows until late 2017/early 2018, so I wouldn't expect them for Roo.

There's a very slim chance that she could play Sun. at Shaky Knees. Probably not, but I can hope. Either that or she'll come to Atlanta when she comes back for Forecastle. If she doesn't we're going to Forecastle.

Yeah, I'd focus much more on the potential Atlanta date which wouldn't be a huge surprise.
No PJ is ok if we get LCD and Sigur. It is hard for me to guess another act to put in the top four with LCD, Pheonix, and Sigur because the most realistic bands just seem like it makes it too good to be true for me. Could Soundgarden perhaps fit in there or would they be a preheadliner or could they oppose a headliner? I think people have stopped thinking the XX because roo supposedly got em, right? Then, of course, there's the Metallica rumor which I would be fine with because I haven't seen em before.
Who could fill the spots of Walk the Moon and the 1975 this year to oppose the heavier headliners? Also, who could Sigur oppose? Because, if they go against LCD, I'll cry and if they go against Phoenix, I'll be very bummed.
Don't say that. That's what I was thinking could happen, but it'd be a bummer (though an easy decision) y'all think Sigur Ros is too big for an aftershow?
