The fest I'm talking about is called Fort Rock and it is a two day event in ft. Lauderdale and Jacksonville
It's in Fort Myers at Jet Blue Park, not Fort Lauderdale. I would have been stoked if this was there. $99 for Soundgarden and Mastodon alone is worth the $$$. But, not driving back from Ft. Myers after this....

My baddddd, that's what I get for trying to use my memory instead of looking it up again.

um Fort Rock and Welcome to Rockville have the same lineup and are on the exact same 2 days. How does this work? Do they just switch off bands that preform one day and then go to the other fest and play the next day. Like soundgarden plays the 29th then goes and plays the 30th at the other. It's also odd to me that these three fests have the exact same bookings. Do these fests normally do that and I just never noticed before?

Welcome to Rockville and Fort Rock always do this. You're correct, the bands switch off. So, Saturday Soundgarden/APC/The Offspring/Mastodon will play Jacksonville and then Sunday they will all play Ft. Myers

Also pretty bummed about Sigur, but I'd say AC looks very likely based on those dates. What position would they be in on this lineup? 1st line headliners? 2nd line headliners?

like fourth line
This year's fourth line was Huey Lewis - Foals - SSPU. I feel like AC would be higher than that. Probably not 1st line but maybe 2nd-3rd.

at SK, I would think second line or first, they were third line at Roo which is much bigger
I'd have to assume that A Perfect Circle is less likely for this now that they've announced a show in LA on May 7. I doubt they'd play a few east coast shows, fly to California, and then come back for this. Pretty bummed.

The 90's alt-rock band Live have announced the original lineup will reform with tour dates and festival stops next year. It's the 25th anniversary of Mental Jewelry and with SK's love for full album sets, I could see an outside chance of this happening here.
