Only seen Tool once and since they always fucking put their tickets on shit-ass ticketmaster and play one of the worst venues around here (Cedar Park Center, not even in Austin), i always miss em when they come down to these parts. So excited for this headlining set that i'm ignoring the setlists until the show. I'm expecting it to be the same as the last tour but really hoping they deviate somewhat. I know they just kicked off last night. It's also very tempting to just look up the damn setlist. I waited out 2 months for Mastodon though, so i think i can wait 10 more days for Tool..
Tracks I wish they'd play live: Undertow, Eulogy (which would be fitting for our times now), Pushit, The Pot (probably really difficult on Maynard's voice these days).
Mannn Eulogy?!? hell fuckin yes. Rumor has it that the rest of the band wanted to cover White Room by Cream this tour but MJK wasn't down. That would've been quite the surprise. Maybe they still will throw it in for a show or two (tho highly unlikely). Also looked up the merch for the two shows, pretty much the same as last tour, which is disappointing if you went to any of those. I plan on getting either the unsigned poster or the venue-specific poster-design shirt.
I actually attended Sasquatch this weekend and they took down that no bag policy post within several hours of posting it and replaced it with the policy linked below. They allowed bags (I brought my Camelbak in every day). Will be my first time at Gov Ball but I'd assume they'd adhere to the same policy as Sasquatch, as both are live nation festivals?

As of now the searches and security will be the same as they are every year. That may change if the NYPD has any last min guidelines they have to comply with.

Speaking of searches and security, I assume it's just like any other large event? Bag searches, possibly patdowns?
New Lo Moon track. I am definitely trying to make it right at doors on Saturday to catch them.
Fuck, this band is so good. Need more of them. Will definitely be there. Did almost no bottom of the undercard research for this cause I'd actually like to have some time to chill out earlier in the day, explore, and try some food (which I did not really get to do at Boston Calling)

I really need to make decisions about earlier in the day for sat/sun. Anyone have recommendations for the first half of those days? I can get I to most stuff besides DJ/EDM
