Beyonce isnt doing any NYC festivals.....she just did 2 nights at Citi Field and a night at Metlife.
Also I can't see Phoenix in a top 3 anytime soon. Bankrupt tanked in sales and their popularity dwindled pretty quick.
Bankrupt felt more like a continuation of their last record which was totally fine but didn't move them forward. Does anyone think Gov Ball could get, not as a headliner but as a fairly high sub, The Gaslight Anthem?
Gaslight Anthem wouldnt even be a sub. But I could see them at like a 5pm slot on the Honda Stage.
Must See 2018 List: 1. Drake 2. The Cure 3. David Byrne 4. King Krule 5. Moses Sumney 6. Dua Lipa 7. Mount Kimbie 8. Perfume Genius 9. Yaeji 10. Big Thief

They announced an indefinite hiatus just last year, I don't think they'll be active in 2017.
St. Paul & the Broken Bones have no NYC date on their spring tour and they're playing Mountain Jam. But assuming they're also playing Bonnaroo I don't know the likelihood that they go back and forth like that. With a quick bit of research the only artist that did all three this year was The London Souls
Deadmau5 headlined the main stage Saturday in 2015, and Calvin himself just headlined the Billboard Hot 100 Fest (a Live Nation Fest) on Long Island this past August.
Grouplove is playing Port Chester, NY and Sayreville, NJ in Mar so doubt they'd do this as well. Feel like Muse would be a perfect fit for a headliner given they announced they were doing US festivals.
Gotta figure Grouplove becomes very likely for this or Panorama...no NYC date on new tour
Since their shows are being promoted by Bowery Presents(AEG), more likely they play Panorama?
Maybe Launchpad McQuack can comment here, but can we expect to see more crossover between Lolla/Roo and GovBall now that they've had a full year under Live Nation together? Know there's been some times they've shared a headliner or maybe a couple of undercard acts, but will it be more widespread? Not saying that's good or bad necessarily.

Had a dream that Governors Ball put out their lineup and announced they were going to have a live music awards show as one of the headlining nights made up just of artists on the lineup with single song performances from some of them. Also that Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and Arcade Fire were the headliners.

Chance didn't even close a day at their festival a little over a month ago, now he's going to close their mainstage in front of a much larger crowd? I could see him being on this lineup but doubt he's higher than 4.
Primavera being good sucks for GovBall (was really holding out hope for the XX, Badbadnotgood & RTJ), but honestly not a ton in the top few lines of that fest that GovBall likely would have booked as well - Primavera's entire 2nd line perhaps sans Solange would never be billed for GovBall, for better or worse.
Still think Muse/Eminem will be 2 of the headliners for this.

I think Metallica is out. Lars already said that they'll be playing Metlife Stadium next summer.
As for Chance being a headliner, now I'd say no. But he could possibly get a lot of grammy nominations next week (and even win in Feb) which would certainly boost his popularity.
