Have you seen him live? His sets are not trash, unless of course you don't like him or his music in general.
I think he's trash, but you said, "Before someone inevitably says he's trash or some shiz, keep in mind he would probably put on a much better performance at a festival that he's never played".
Well I was trying to deter that kind of response which I guess was indeed inevitable. Im assuming if any artist was asked to play a festival for the first time, they would try to put their best foot forward and pull out all the stops. Similar to how Griz had never played bonnaroo before and when he did he played 5 different sets, all of which proved that he deserved to be brought back in the future. I don't think thats an unrealistic expectation to have.
If we don't get a (the) Chemical Brothers sunrise set next year, AC and LN can eat a bag of dicks. It's exactly what Roo needs and deserves.
Honestly, at this point, I don't think Roo deserves it and it honestly wouldn't move that many tickets to their largest demographics. If this were 2008-2014, I might feel differently. Either way, I need and deserve it, so they should do it
Not sure if it's really "edm" but I've been really digging classixx since their set at Lolla. Would be a cool Thursday act.
They played the first set at the Other Tent on a Saturday in 2014, so I think they'd at least graduate to mid-afternoon/evening dance tent, or maybe even a late night set.

Classixx would be a really awesome Thursday night set imo. I've loved their stuff for awhile now. I think they may be putting out a new album pretty soon?

Madeon and Porter Robinson just announced new music and a winter tour. Either of them could play Roo next year. They're both past-due to hit the farm.
Think their Shelter tour will be b2b?

You guys think they have a lot of material together and will do kind of like a "JackU" thing where the two of them team up more or this is kind of a one off song/tour scenario?

wouldnt be surprised if they put out like a 4 or 5 song EP together

I'd be totally cool for some shows with them performing together at festivals. I can only imagine what kind of production they would put together instead of the standard just stand behind a generic LED screen on CDJs

I'd say it's safe to assume that it will just be Porter's current live set up + Madeon's current live set up. I just wonder if Porter will stay play on his table or if they'll make some hybrid table or a new one.
