I'm going to guess at this point DJ Snake will be our highest billed edm.
I'm still holding out hope that they booked Above & Beyond. They'll be at EF a few weeks later so looks like they'll be in the US during Roo hopefully.
Frankly, I think if they somehow book them, it would make up for a lot of the garbage we are seeing thus far in the eyes of most people in this thread. Would be potentially amazing late night show.......................that they will mess up and schedule for 2:30pm Which Stage Sunday

Saw Justice on Friday and every festival should beg them to come play. It was probably the best/most fun den show I've ever been to and it was just a DJ set. They threw down for like 2.5 hours and killed every second of it

the festival dj set I saw from them was pretty lame.

Well, that sucks to hear, but the show they played Friday was phenomenal by all accounts

I feel like the highest billed EDM act at Roo this year will be Martin Garrix. I've had that feeling since seeing him on the SA Lolla posters next to The Chainsmokers/Flume and seeing him on Coachella makes me think it even more. Not my cup of tea but just my prediction.

Garrix is terrible live (ive unfortunately seen him twice), but I'd STILL take him over Major Lazer live. At least you won't have to listen to him yell at you for 60 out of 75 minutes. Id prefer to listen to ML tracks, but would suffer through Garrix over ML any day.
If Coachella can be inundated with terrible acts, what chance does the farm have?
there are so many good electronic acts in the lower parts of the lineup though. hannah wants, daphni, brodinski, richie hawtin, bonobo, dixon... like damn

I think this too. It's going to be him or ML. I think in their minds either one is a big booking for EDM. Even though it's completely uninspiring to us.
Empire of the Sun Porter Robinson Bonobo DJ Shadow and Kaytranada would all be preferable over a lot of the names we're apparently getting, and 3 of those have played Roo before.
Flume Marshmello Pretty Lights Borgore NGHTMRE Getter Louis the Child
Sounds about right.
Sadly, that's probably not too far off the mark.
That's one of the most atrocious attempts at an electronic lineup I could imagine. And the fact that I'm realistically expecting something similar says a lot about my faith in Bonnaroo at this point.

I mean, half of that is already confirmed. Flume and Marshmello are both at Gov Ball the week before, and Pretty Lights will probably be there because why not.
I know, it's as grim as it's ever looked for Bonnaroo. But it's to be expected looking at the trajectory of the previous years.
Kaytranada is one possible bright spot of a booking they could pull out. But he'd probably get a 4pm spot on the Which.
Was surprised to see how high he was billed at Coachella.
