Well hell going off this, we are due for a good lineup since Roo clues came out in Jan in 2014. Obviously there's no correlation between 2014 and 2017, but I'm optimistic that Roo has something solid in store. I tweeted them about Roo clues, but didn't get a response
have you seen any of the "painting with" shows? i've seen them 7 times and i think these are by far my favorite. they did do some one off shows in brooklyn that were really incredible too in like 2010, maybe 2011. they finally played water curses on this latest tour though and threw a jam of the grateful dead's "the other one" in it and i melted.
Yeah, I saw them in Denver this year on the PW tour. It was a lot of fun, but I preferred them playing the instruments they did on the CHz tour. It provided a different type of energy. My highlight was Bees from the PW show. Hoping they throw more older songs in there this run though.
I thought the building was going to collapse during The Burglars.

in jersey the burglars turned into a weird hippy dance pit. i've never seen so much energy at an animal collective show.

Oh this was definitely me just speaking out of my ass. I haven't been in recent contact with my buddy in the industry. While he did provide me with some correct info there was some Doo Doo leads in there as well. That being said I have no source, inside info, or even reason to claim this.
Based on the crossover from LaureLive last year we should expect a few of the acts to return this year. My guesses: The Head & The Heart Young the Giant St Paul & the Broken Bones The strumbellas

I second St. Paul and the Broken Bones! Haven't had a chance to dig into the new album much yet, but what I've heard so far is fantastic!
Local Natives are playing Knoxville and Athens. No to both Shakey Knees and Roo?
The way their tour sets up, they are headed to Europe at start of June. They are most likely out for Roo. But nothing on their schedule makes me think they can't play SK.

The Athens show won't rule them out?
Only one way to know... what do you think Radius Claus?

March 25th- 6 week difference, 90 miles away. I guess it could mark them out, but doesn't seem to be a deal breaker. New album doesn't do much for me, so kinda glad they won't be at Roo.

I love the new album. But I don't think many others do

Peter Frampton has an acoustic show in Nashville in March. Would that rule him out for a full band show at Bonnaroo? He's doing the full band at Mountain Jam.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Watching Glastonbury highlights from 2016 on the DVR, and Alunageorge would be so fun at Roo next year. This set looks like a lot of fun, anyone ever see her before? Still bummed I missed her at Lolla this year, but I had a Frank Turner aftershow to go to!

Arkells played on a smaller stage this year at Roo, they are starting to get bigger: I hope they come back for another round. They were amazing in a venue in Buffalo recently, and pretty awesome at Lolla too. Since they'll be touring next year, I could see them bringing them back.
Not sure if this has been discussed, but this will probably take away some good artists from Roo.
I'm convinced that 2014 may have been the last we see of Disclosure at Roo and that saddens me. Glad I was there only a few rows back to witness it all. :-)
Side note: This Wild Life fest is always pretty stacked IMO.
