Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Who do you think we'll get that will surprisingly be left off the Shaky Knees lineup? I'm hoping we pull Pinegrove and Future Islands.
I don't know if St. Vincent is being booked anywhere because I haven't seen her on any lineups yet, but she's expected to release LP5 this year so I really hope that somehow happens.
I've basically given up on Car Seat Headrest though. That's like the perfect Shaky Knees band.

You are hearing it here first. The Avett Brothers will be back on the farm!
Check THIS out! The link will take you to a donation page. On the page you can buy pieces of artwork made through soundwaves of songs. The Avett Brothers only signed one and donated it to the Bonnaroo Works Fund. I know bands, especially the Avett's, are always willing to help out a good cause but it seems strange to me for them to donate that and not be on the farm...right?

Every year the Bonnaroo Works Fund features signed merch by plenty of former Bonnaroo acts.

I feel like the merch they offer from others connects them back to the festival. Like signed pictures of them playing at Roo or something along those lines. Since Avett didnt play in 2009, when I and Love and You came out, I feel like it doesn't have as much of a tie. Also on that link is Robert Plant's autographed piece donated to Bonnaroo and it is celebrating him playing there in 2011. For Avett, I think if it had been from a year they played at Roo or something else that tied the song to it, it would make more sense for it to be donated. But since the only connection is that they have played there, I think this could help confirm them. Also they have a big break in their schedule.
I never expected Lorde at Roo, seeing that C3 runs Shaky now, I really think Lorde could fill the Florence spot, and that saddens me if Roo missed out on her. I can't see Roo getting Weeknd and Lorde, I know they're going younger of late, but two high profile pop acts in the top 5? I just don't see it. Especially with Chance most likely playing, and clearly at least a 4 at Roo. Lorde as a 5, with U2-RHCP-Weeknd-Chance looks more unrealistic in each mock I see. I'm trying to stay hopeful, but seeing those top three and these awful Roo clues, this top line is going to have a significant drop after Chance.
You do remember that last year 4-6 was J Cole, Ellie Goulding, and Macklemore, right? Weeknd, Chance, Lorde as 3-5 isn't much different, just a lot better
Except The Weeknd is a headliner, so I really don't know how much he is asking for if he's a Top 3 outright.

Worrying about money is a silly thing for us to do. If Livenation wants to book an artist and the artist wants to play, it'll happen. Booking costs don't really matter

It's clear Roo is going younger, so I'm not expecting anyone you just listed. I think Beach House could be this year's Purity Ring LN type set. They're playing the week before Roo at GB, and that was a suprise because I wasn't expecting them to be playing any fests in 2017. In 2016, they were overseas during Roo. Roo usually gets acts a year later. Alt-J could be one of those surprise acts we get at Roo as well. Glass Animals is a safe bet too.

Since last year we only had Les Claypool as a throwback undercard act, and virtually no other throwback undercard acts. I'm going to guess that they do this again sadly. I'm going to guess Trey Anastastio will be our throwback legacy act. 2015 was probably the last year we see and EWF-Slayer-Tears for Fears-Robert Plant combo.
Who do you think will be our lone or maybe few legacy type acts?
This is probably just me thinking into things too much, but it looks like there's definite advertising on the Reddit page going on.
Thesetwo accounts are either two happy go lucky newcomers to Roo, or are very poorly disguised interns trying to get people excited. If it's the former, I'm definitely just becoming a crusty old bastard. I'm sorry.
If the latter is the case, based on the first person's posts, maybe we're getting Kid Cudi'd/Travis Scotted.
Maybe they're going super meta with the Roo clues now and disguising them as fake redditors. Maybe I'm going crazy.
Both of those accounts seem very normal for r/bonnaroo
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Yeah, in no way do I expect St.V Or Car Seat Headrest at all. Pinegrove will likely end up at Shaky Knees but it'd just be a nice surprise to have them at roo.
I'm really hoping we get Future Islands in that type of spot though (Purity Ring/Blood Orange). A late night Future Islands show would get my jimmies thoroughly rustled.

If this turns out to be the case, combined with the cutoffs for late nights, it'll be reeeeeeally hard for me to justify coming back Holding out hope for Tuesday.
I know someone previously mentioned them but with these additional tour dates added for Frightened Rabbit, I think they'd be a logical undercard fit. Gonna be hitting some cities in the central/eastern parts of the US right before Roo.
