They are def having booking issues. I had one friend say it so I checked with another and he confirmed. Basically somebody fell through and they are trying for a replacement.
If this is true, this is not terrible news. Figure out the replacement, then roll out the lineup.
Yea this would actually be good news to me personally. I have limited interest in her and should would eat up a lot of the talent budget. This is assuming they already have Muse - whoever already booked and ready to go.

I agree that I don't think it's a huge deal. Drop outs happen. Also if some rumors are true and they are willing to let all the competitors get a head start so they can catch a big fish headliner who haven't announced their summer tour yet (PJ, Metallic, etc) that is a actually pretty commendable.
The confusion is the total lack of social media presence during the most critical time of year to generate interest. To hold a concert and not mention a thing last night is what makes it bizarre. It's the radio silence more than the lack of a lineup. Even some clues to the undercard performers would keep people happy right now.
I'm pretty sure they were trying for Bey. But I can't say I have concrete evidence of that.
A headliner falling through now is pretty bad news. This year already had a pretty shallow pool to pick from since a lot of the big names are in Europe. Sadly I feel like if they do need a fill in headline, you're looking at a 21P or ZBB, if they weren't there to begin with.

If the rumors are true that the back up for Macca in 2015 was Springsteen, then a Beyonce to ZBB swap makes no sense. Some that would make sense would be Rihanna, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, or Usher and the Roots

I think it is the routing more than anything. They play Pittsburgh, have 12 days off which is one of their longest breaks of the tour right around the Firefly dates and then pick back up just a bit north in NY.

i cant see her playing this when her husband runs MIA an hour away 2 months later. The price tag would prob have to be insane just to get her to consider.
Personally, I'd be real happy if the reason the lineup is delayed is because Beyonce dropped out. Saw part of her set at Made in America a few years ago and that was enough for me. I just hope the replacement isn't a different pop act or something.
This festival is so close to home for me since I live in Delaware. I just hope they don't mess it up again like 2015... I really give Firefly a chance every year and my patience wears more and more thin every year.

Keep an eye on NIN if Muse dropped. Panorama isn't going to be their first show of the summer, there's rumors on the NIN boards that they're doing a full summer tour with QOTSA.

At the moment there is no timeframe. People love to think that it's ready to go and they are holding on to it just to be cruel or something, but that's just not the case. It's a process, everything has to be in place before it can be posted. Based on the nature of what I'm told still needs to be addressed, my own personal GUESS (I can't stress that enough) is that it should be less than a week, but AGAIN that's an educated guess. I just still marvel at how many people LOOOOVE to pretend that it's late, just because last year it came out in Nov. It'll be here before we know it

In all seriousness, Lady Gaga would be awesome. She is an amazing artist and puts on a crazy good show. New album, no summer tour dates yet but definitely coming, getting a lot of radio play lately. I figured she might play lolla since she was there in 2010, but I wouldn't be shocked if Firefly landed her by surprise. I know I rated her 10/10 in the fan poll.

thanks for the input. its not really it being late that we are bugging about, its the lack of communication on social media and the complete disregard of the fest at their own show last night. heres to it possibly being within a week
