Saw them open for AnCo and they were awesome (big fan of Ratking myself) but they apparently broke up
That's awesome, i saw them open for Trash Talk lol they have quite the array of influences, but damn, i had no idea they broke up. I just looked into that and it looks like just Hak left so maybe the group goes on as just Wiki and Sport. Trash Talk would be awesome at Bonnaroo too now that i think about it. Antwon would also be dope.
I feel like Lupe's one of those guys who always had a lot of respect in the hip-hop community, but never really got the mainstream cred he deserved, especially when he started getting overly preachy and political and put out a couple shitty albums. Tetsuo & Youth is a really good album that got a decent amount of critical acclaim, but I don't think it really translated into him gaining any new fans. Word is that he's going to release his next few albums in a short time span this year, and then he'll be done for good (though we've heard this before).
To answer your question though, I feel like a lot of people don't really care about Lupe, and I don't expect that to change much. I'd love to see him on the farm though, and I'd consider him to be within the realm of possibility.
I'm not sure if/where he would fit on a lineup. His set in 08 was awesome. The quality of his output has declined since then. He's had a few good songs mixed in over the last 8 years, but the albums have been nothing compared to Food and Liquor and The Cool. That being said I would still go check out a set in hopes he played some of the old stuff

Him threatening Kid Cudi has also put me off from him recently

I'm a Lupe fan but he's really not the type who should be threatening anyone.
That being said, lyrically he's leagues beyond Cudi and it wouldn't even be a fair fight.

youre kidding right? Lupe has more gang ties than most rappers out right now. He just doesn't flaunt that.
I'm aware of his background; I've been tugging on Lupe's nuts since before the Free Chilly days. I just mean that in terms of perceived toughness, Lupe is way down there. He's the type of guy that just straight-up sounds silly making threats.
What Tristan said. The singles have kinda flopped, so I just don't see it selling well. The last album had Collared Greens and the Studio song that got a lot of radio play.

The first time I saw Lupe Fiasco live he got hit in the face with a glowstick and stopped the show to remind the crowd he has 3 black belts or something lol

Schoolboy's album will not flop. THat Part has 13 million views in 3 weeks and he made a pretty big buzz from when he released his fake album covers with MJ and Donald Trump on them. This album roll out is way better than the shitshow that was Oxymoron.

I mean there's still two weeks of promo they can do, but Oxymoron sold 139,000 copies in the first week. Flop is a strong word but I'd be willing to bet Blank Face doesn't top that.

Yeah honestly it's hard to tell nowadays with streaming and things like that. But I think it might be similar to TPAB because from the songs that I've heard it's more of what Q wants to do as opposed to Oxymoron which had a lot of songs radio ready. 100k sounds about right, I think he will go over that a bit, but with streaming and the fact that they change first week sales rules every other day it's hard to foresee the numbers.
All of his snippets and singles leading up have been great so I'm very excited for his album.

I just want Chance, Anderson Paak, & Danny Brown. Earl Sweatshirt would be great as well as RTJ if 3 comes out before Roo (I think it's supposed to, yeah?)
Edit- forgot two, Missy & A$AP Rocky, I'd love both of them as well.

The snippet El-P posted from RTJ3 yesterday on Instagram was so good.
ASAP Rocky has been all over the place so Roo could get him if they wanted
Yeah but he's pretty hit or miss live. I mean ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg have both killed it when they were at Bonnaroo, so that could help the chances of it being a good show. But I don't know if he'll still be touring off At Long Last ASAP next year
