Edward Allan Clarke aka Fast Eddie Clarke, original and former guitarist of Motorhead (and Fastway) died yesterday. That's Fast Eddie, Filthy Animal and Lemmy in the last 2 years.
I think I've heard, "only the good die young" and "if you don't slow down, you won't grow old". After spending way more time at a nursing home than I wanted to this year, I'm good with the Lord calling me at last call at a favorite bar or encore at a festival.

Johann Johannsson died He's done the scores for movies like Arrival, Sicario, The Thoery of Everything, etc.
Saddest/greatest thing I saw was on Olafur Arnalds' Facebook. He stated Johannsson spent a significant amount of time composing a score for Mother! then realized the movie would be better without one and convinced Aronofsky of this. That's a really respectable artistic move.
