Whatever he will do, it is going to be fantastic because he has not disappointed at allllll both times I've seen Blood Orange live this year.
Well what did he do both times you saw him?
I think a bit of both - definitely makes use of backing vocals (his two back up singer ladies are DOPE) but I believe he did a bit of the guest parts himself too.
tЯist♡n - help me out; what do you recall from their Roo show? Aside from the joy and splendor of dancing w me
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Schedule and single day passes on Monday at 10 AM.
Also today is the last day to get 10% off your ticket while supporting Planned Parenthood!
Nice. I was going to wait for the schedule to figure out what I need to research. I know plenty of the top but have only seen Butthole Surfers, Kaskade, RTJ, Odesza, Thundercat and Windows 98.
I'd see any of them again, but Kaskade would have to be unopposed. I'm psyched to be able to see Uncle Acid, Welcome to Houston, Squarepusher, Lightning Bolt and RZA for the first time. So placement of those shows will also have a big impact on my schedule.

I'd be at the Red stage pretty much all day Saturday. Lots of conflicts and it's not even the full schedule... and that doesn't include getting to look around and check out all the lights. That sucks. Lol.
When do the grounds open and close & how late are the light installations going? Anyone know? I see that Bjork is playing until 2am, so I'm assuming you'll have access to the whole place while she's still playing. That'd be a good time to wander around the light installations.

Like hell I wouldn't be dragging your ass over to the Jesus & Mary Chain. You can thank me later. And that's no smite against Chet/Nick, but Jesus, this is The Jesus & Mary Chain. Not like, a Jesus & Mary Chain. THE.
Instead I just get to drag your ass around Beijing...woe is us.

We're leaving saturday morning.
If you go to the artist's pages on their website it says when and where they're playing.
Blue Stage Bjork Digital 10:30p-2a Soulection 11:10-12a John Carpenter 9:30-10:30p
never seen conflicts on the same stage.
Yeah I noticed that too, but I think she's not actually on that stage at all. Her show is supposed to be some visual experience in like 5 different rooms so I'm assuming she'll be DJing in one of those.
Just noticed that there might actually be typos, this must be a rough draft. The RZA and UMO shows say Sunday, but they're more likely Saturday.
EDIT: And the Bjork page states "FRIDAY 10:30-2:00"
Friday, she's confirmed to be DJing the pre-party (sucks I'll miss that). I'm guessing Saturday night is the "A five-room digital experience". Unsure if she'll actually be present for that.

Awesome find, Mr. Bone. One of the good Americans. Now I'll spend hours mapping out my plans.
Aphex Twin vs Bjork Digital vs Run the Jewels is some Jazz Fest closing time slot shit. People bitch all the time about zomg footliner x vs footliner y is brutal or whatever. But this is real. I hope the stages are easy to get to and from each other. I'm going to want to see some of all three of these sets. I gues with Bjork going late, I can see some of the last hour/hour and a half easy enough. I don't need rail for anything, just a good back view.

They said she was doing 2 shows a month or two ago on a fb reply. So I think she will be there.
Like llz said, this might not be the exact final lineup, but I would actually be okay with RTJ at the same time as Aphex Twin. They're easy to see and play everywhere so hopefully they would draw the crowd away from Aphex and I could just see them somewhere else.
Yeah these conflicts are fucking bonkers man. I knew it was going to be bad, but this is crazy. I dislike splitting sets for acts I really want to see, but it may become a requirement here.
As far as the stage set-up situation, I'm still under the impression that most of this is INSIDE this 8-story building. Are there stages on each floor? Main stage outside? All outside? Only the light shows/art installs inside the building? The map for this might be just as fascinating as the set times.

And I understand that. You're not going to see Aphex Twin very often, and RTJ should be on a lot of bills in 2017 withe the release of 3. But still. I have seen them twice and listen to them pretty often, so I will want to see them. No doubt they will be bringing out a local Houston rapper to do something or other. And I'll want to see that. Maybe 20 minutes Aphex Twin, 35-40 of RTJ, then back for the last 30-35 minutes for Aphex. Nothing ever goes exactly according to plan when I'm at a festival, so I can be flexible. I'll look harder at everything Monday when the official times are announced.
16 acre site tells me that more than one stage will probably be outside. I'd guess two or three of them unless they dedicate one of the 5 floors (not sure if it has a basement but it does have a "ground floor" and 5 up) to a stage. Bjork's digital set is going to take up 8 rooms, so I'd guess that's a floor in and to itself.

both times ive seen RTJ in Houston (though one time was El-P and Killer Mike solo before they were RTJ) Mike has brought out Bun B to do "Big Beast". Considering Bun B will be tehre I'm pretty certain that'll happen
