Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Tell me about your conflicts, because I don't have too many, which makes me think I need to research some artists.
SATURDAY:
Chelsea Wolfe vs Tobacco Banks vs Clams Casino vs -Us. OPN vs Nick Murphy Blood Orange vs Odesza Aphex Twin vs Run The Jewels vs John Carpenter
SUNDAY:
Aerial Pink vs S U R V I V E Matmos vs Lightning Bolt Anklepants vs Mykki Blanco RZA vs Liars SOPHIE vs Squarepusher Arca vs Butthole Surfers
This is more a situation where you like too many artists on the lineup than the schedule sucking. Your conflicts represent 4:10 onward on Saturday with the exception of 5:00-5:20, 6:20-6:35, 7:30-7:35. And then 4:00 onward on Sunday with the exception of 4:55-5:00, 6:45-7;10, and 9:20-9:40.
All the kids camping for Travis Scott have no idea what they're in for with the Butthole Surfers playing right before him. lol.
Haha. Butthole Surfers are legitimately disturbing. Who knows what they are going to do for that show but it's got to be off at more than just a base level.

on a scale of "do you want to lose your mind" to "sure why not", how much would you recommend tripping for this show?
I'd never recommend that since probably 1985 or 86, But I'd say they probably did for months/years on end living in that van. But I have no idea what they will do. It could be a flashy alternative show or a punk rock show. Or they might put some crazy film(s) behind them on a screen spliced in with cannibalism. From a musical perspective it's not King Crimson or Pink Floyd or Hawkwind or Gong or some trip ass band. Then again, it's dirty. So I'll leave that decision up to you.
The Butthole Surfers are not for the faint of heart or mind. Gibbytronix could easily send a n00b millennial into a bad trip spiral. It's said that Daniel Johnston went crazy from tripping at a Surfers show.
They are not what they were in the 80's. Watch the Blind Eye Sees All vid on Youtube for what they were like in '85 at their prob most wigged out. They are all pushing 60 now (hard to believe) and will def be melting faces. The visual element of this fest combined with them at night could equal some insanity though. I have no idea who Travis Scott is but if his fans are douchebags they're gonna regret being up front as I'm going to be losing my shit and plenty of other people will be too I would imagine.
Dream setlist for D4N:
One Hundred Million People Dead To Parter> Graveyard Human Cannonball> Dust Devil The Lord is a Monkey> Kuntz> Blindman Suicide Bar-B-Q Pope> Pittsburg to Lebanon Alcohol> Some Dispute Over T-Shirt Sales> Booze Tobacco Dope Pussy Cars I Saw an X Ray of a Girl Passing Gas> Something
E: Jimi> Roky Shah Sleeps In Lee Harvey's Grave
All that said, you'll have a great time seeing them, and I doubt things will get too crazy at this fest in terms of physical danger. They are f'n legends and are worth skipping whatever else is going on to catch their whole set.

I feel like this would be a nice place for a tycho set with his background.... In addition to his skipping Houston when he goes through Texas at the end of the month. Shaping up to be a great fest, which is refreshing due to fpsf becoming very below average.
Well I have to say I was wrong at first, but am very happy Tycho has been added. Fantastic addition.
Tycho added. They're Saturday 8-9p on the Blue stage.
Super pumped about this! I don't care about missing anyone else in that time slot and I'm sure 90% of the crowd will be at Odesza.
Also the facebook post says it's Tycho's live show.
Right on. Fucking greatness. Time to go nerd and update my schedule spreadsheet. All 3 of my kids are psyched having seen the live show with me at Bonnaroo 2015 *edit and Euphoria 16

Yeah my brother was pretty upset about Washed Out dropping out, but Tycho is like his favorite band so that was a good trade off for us in the end.

Damn, Sunday brought the ruckus.
Don't sleep on Squarepusher in that open Sunday 8 slot. Phi turned me onto his live project Shobaleader One. And that's slightly better than just Squarepusher. But we didn't get that. And Squarepusher is not a slouch.
Also we found out Pelicans are playing the Rockets in Houston that Friday. That's getting thrown into the mix of possible shit I might do Friday night.
Going to be funny to be the only Inforoo person at Odesza and Kaskade.
I'll probably get a piece of Odesza in but not during Tycho. Kaskade, at least the middle, is a nomans land for me. Travis Scott is talented but too R&B for me. And I don't really know Wild Moccasins beyond limited research. So I could potentially watch some of that set before Bjork Digital. You leaning towards going?
