Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Going to be funny to be the only Inforoo person at Odesza and Kaskade.
I'll probably get a piece of Odesza in but not during Tycho. Kaskade, at least the middle, is a nomans land for me. Travis Scott is talented but too R&B for me. And I don't really know Wild Moccasins beyond limited research. So I could potentially watch some of that set before Bjork Digital. You leaning towards going?
Wild Moccasins is a local Houston band, but they're pretty good. I saw them open for Belle & Sebastian last year & I know Tejas has seen them a bunch of times.

I was planning on doing all of ODESZA after the first 20 of Blood Orange, but now this TYCHO shit has thrown me all off.
I saw Wild Moccassins open for Stars a couple years ago, and they were a cute, fun, spunky band of youngsters. I enjoyed them, was cool to see them on this line-up. I'm curious how/if they have evolved since. I will be there for their first 30 minutes before the Bjork event.
Hola Senor Esteban! We are excited to let you know that your Day for Night pass(es) from Order #xxx were shipped on 11/15/2016 to the following address: Nueva Orleans
Your estimated delivery time is approximately 5 to 7 days, however it may take longer depending on your location.
This is my tentative schedule, obvi subject to change:
Saturday
Welcome to Houston Chelsea Wolfe Thundercat Lower Dens Banks Nick Murphy Blood Orange ODESZA John Carpenter Run the Jewels Aphex Twin
Sunday
Nothing S U R V I V E Ariel Pink Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats Lightning Bolt Blonde Redhead Kamasi Washington RZA Squarepusher Little Dragon Kaskade Bjork Digital
Definitely won't make it to all these but should see at least some of most.
1) Yesterday they seemed to be suggesting a partnership with Boiler Room ("Stand By for Details"). Has "12/3" in there so I can't tell if that's the date of the announcement on who they will be filming for their tv show series or if that's something else happening in advance.
3) interview with creator Omar Afra at Houston's City Book. Looks like 75% of the tickets are from outside the area whereas last year the majority were locals. Expecting 30-40,000, many from Europe and Asia.
I think a bit of both - definitely makes use of backing vocals (his two back up singer ladies are DOPE) but I believe he did a bit of the guest parts himself too.
tЯist♡n - help me out; what do you recall from their Roo show? Aside from the joy and splendor of dancing w me
I really don't remember much from that show...
Hahah sames, hence my reaching out to you as a life line.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I really need to check out some more of the bands on the lineup, esp on Fri when I'll have more downtime. Sat is basically loaded start to finish for me.
Sets I'm most excited about: 1. Butthole Surfers 2. Aphex Twin 3. John Carpenter 4. Ariel Pink 5. Bjork

Also super stoked about Anklepants
Saturday to check out based on what you usually post about (you may know some of this): Thundercat - Great jazzy bass player who plays different styles (used to be with Suicidal Tendencies for a while) From Beyond is a spacey-rock band from Austin rooted in some metal and +/- Hawkwind style
A clip of Thundercat where he sings, jams, etc. (just skim through it. About the 10 and 14 minute marks are some of the best stuff on this one)
Yeah seems like it, although Shobaleader One is touring right before this fest.
Yeah, I saw that when they announced that he was playing. I am perfectly fine with it either way, but I'll have to look out for Shobaleader One in the future.
I saw on their facebook that they made special mention that a lot of people are coming from Austin. Also, they are reporting Single Day passes are almost sold out. From the post 19 hours ago, they estimate 1 more day to buy Saturday passes (which would mean it would sell out today) and 2-3 days for Sunday passes (which would be Wednesday or Thursday). Then they would still have a cache of weekend passes.
Saturday single passes are sold out, and they just have a few more Sundays. Then it's weekend only. Since the size is triple capacity from last year's 20,000 sellout, they probably don't sell out the fest in my opinion.
As for Bjork Digital, 3 of the components are:
Stonemilker VR, also directed by Huang, a film of a performance of the first song (“Stonemilker”) from Björk’s acclaimed 2015 album, Vulnicura, shot at a beach in Iceland and viewable in 360-degree VR.
– Moutmantra VR, a collaboration with director Jesse Kanda, capturing footage from inside her mouth and teeth as she sings the title track.
– Notget VR, directed by Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, presenting Bjork as a digital moth and “giantess,” transformed by masks created by James Merry.
anyone notice they switched Bjork and Arca? She's at the same time as Butthole Surfers now.. WTF.
Well that sucks balls. It also doesn't show going til 3am but 12:50 on Sunday. I'm not super wild about Arca. I respect some of the industrial stuff he does and production work but it's just really more dancey than what I want to see. I don't want Sunday to end with a whimper or Kaskade.

well that just ruined my schedule.
Bro, this is a good thing. We all have a chance to see 'Arca' now. It's our one chance to see a top Venezuelan producer perform some of his exclusive remixes. Fuck a legendary band's home state reunion and an international weirdo legend doing some crazy rare immersive experience. #glowsticks
Seriously, I'm hoping they reconsider this. What a fucking bullshit move on their part. Put the legends against each other so DJ shit can take over the end of the fest? So anticlimatic.
I hate to say it but I will leave Surfers a little early to catch a solid 20 mins of Bjork if necessary.
