The Air B and B is fairly macked out. There are 3 HD tvs side by side by side in the living room. It's 3 stories with 3 BRs. Alexa or whatever her name is you tell that bitch to play Led Zepellin or Three Six or whatever and that's all surround. 2 of 3 bathrooms have garden tubs. There is a fire massage chair with accompanying foot massager. I'm full on Texas BBQ, and I'm drinking St. Arnold and Shiner. Good start to the weekend, and kind of a steal for 630.00 for 3 nights. They say sleeps 10 but the house would fit 100 and sleep 15 easily. I'm looking forward to hearing about the first night so y'all friday mfs have to report back.

Definitely wishing I had picked up the Friday pass. At first it didn't seem worth it to double the price just to see two acts I would probably see at the fest. The social media team is killing me right now.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Volume: Maybe 1-2k at the pre party. Open bar. 2 Food Trucks open. (I settled for KoreanBBQ Fusion). People are dressed up in all sorts of random costumes, so anything goes.
Layout: This could be a steampunk festival easily. The blue stage's sound echoes ferociously through the whole building which is just awesome. Several art installations were open, but there is access to a 2nd floor which was suppose to be closed off that definitely has more going on. I told Esteban I felt like I was on a spaceship while at the sametime on some layer of hell.
There were 2 bars on the inside, one right by the blue stage and one tucked by Bjork's Digital. Speaking of, that had a MASSIVE line (100+) to get in. I don't think the reservation idea is working well so hopefully they fix it or y'all may be missing sets to get it. Bathrooms were a mess, and eventually became mix use as people just didn't give a fuck. I think there was only one set on the inside.
Bjork and Win98 DJ sets were dope, the chick from the Suffers killed it with nothing but early 2000 hip-hop throwbacks. No Killer Mike as advertised originally though. Least I think that was advertised. Oh well.
Open bar all night with Heineken, some other random beer and Deep Eddy cocktails. Pretty fast service. Plenty of people cleaning. Last night had a heavy cop presence, though, but no one seemed to get out of hand. Ill leave the art installations for y'all to discover when you get here
VIP looks dope on an elevated platform over the first floor.
As far as getting there from Club Quarters, walking is 100% viable. 10-15 minutes max through a district w bars & restaurants along the whole walk and then a bridge over the highway with police controlling traffic. A few sketchy homeless people but you'll find that in any big city. Got 2 slices of pizza for 6 bucks somewhere. The hotel is full booked, and people for the fest are all over the place.
**** Valet seems to be the only option with the parking lot across the street*** $25/day

Overall great synopsis - I only made it for DJ Windows because of flight delay etc, but the space really is so amazing. Excited to check it out more extensively today.
But! There's definitely cheaper parking than that. Lots for 5 and 10 bucks abound.

The garage at 1111 San Jacinto is $5/day on weekends. Maybe 4 blocks south of the hotel.
We also found one half a block north of the hotel that was $10. But we had to prepay, meaning our entire stay there is $10 til we move the car out of the garage. So super close and not a bad deal.
And if you're staying til Monday, the $10 flat fee will be much cheaper. You'd roll back into $18/day at the 1111 San Jacinto garage on Monday.
Has anyone seen info about them opening gates early for Bjork VR? I'm pretty much ready to accept I won't see it. And if I somehow luck into it, bonus.
Thanks for the update regarding parking! The lot last night was $15 but they pulled some BS and now you have to do valet via the hotel. Ill look into the other spaces for tomorrow. Too late now for today.
I think this and Sound on Sound are going to be my definite go to fests for the Fall. ACL can suck it.
I'm about to jump in the shower. I'll be wearing a navy blue Pelicans tshirt and a pair of jeans that has a ripped knee from when I missed a step at Bacchanal and dropped straight onto that knee and a grey Pelicans baseball cap on. So if anyone sees me feel free to say what's up. Im pretty excited but I'm thinking of laying a little low on the partying because I really want to (or have ideas of wanting to) remember most of this. I'm assuming a lot of artists, celebrities and alternative media from around the world will be there, and it's possible this could be the year that launches Day 4 Night into a destination fest. And really all anyone needs to know is some of the top personalities from Inforoo - the likes of fka Phi, Rummy, Longinus, Postjack, Blotter, Fuzzywarbles, Rothric, cmack, j-kick etc. are here. This ain't some child's play. Haha. \m/

I' was going to wear this pretty sweet light blue Hawaiian type shirt but I think I'm going long sleeve blue button up, grey shorts, and some kickass red white and gold adidas high tops. I'll have a killer navy blue poncho on when the rains come
