Hey some people like Bassnectar and aren't total dingus's. There are dozens of us!
There's dozens of you but hundreds of dingus's that totally overshadow you!
I hear ya. All jokes aside - if you ever find yourself at a Bassnectar set try to keep an open mind. There are a lot of great people in the crowd that genuinely want everyone to have a great time.

No doubt, my first EDM show was Nectar and I had a great time. I enjoy HIS independent shows, just hate seeing his army take over a festival.
Where'd you get that feeling? I'm still hoping for Green Day since their summer tour suspiciously skips the entire area.
Thats funny thats the same reason why I was thinking Blink would play. They started their second leg of their US tour earlier this year but skipped the east coast, they said they'd come back in the Fall. I dunno just seeing them booked for Lolla made me think they'd fit in perfectly for this fest's demographic.
I just can't see Green Day doing Cali on Wed. 13th and Sat 16th and with New York in the middle.....unless they did New York on the Sunday (17th) but even that seems somewhat unlikely to me.
I would be disappointed but at least they don't blatantly ignore Rock in this and Green Day is a good get.
I just wish they would go with a more Panorama route and get relevant rock bands rather than bands whose best days are behind them like Blink and Weezer. Very Firefly of them.
I would at least be able to check out a Drake show maybe it would be fun. I forgot what the consensus reviews of it were when he played Gov Ball a few years back.

I won't argue Green Day's best album sales are behind them, but they are as strong a live band as ever. Full energy with diverse set lists covering most of their albums, which are 80% great albums.
Weezer is a bit harder to defend, but I really enjoyed the White Album and the live shows that surrounded.

Only time I saw Weezer and didn't enjoy the show was when they played Bonnaroo.. Every other time I have seen them its been pretty great. I once saw them and Flaming Lips do a B2B set that was absolutely incredible and remains one of my all time favorite concerts. Rivers came out in the hamster ball. They went song for song, and Weezer covered Radiohead too.

Oh I agree, I just saw Green Day at Barclays Center they were phenomenal live. Blink and Weezer are more the acts I was referring to.
Would just prefer them to go the National/Gorillaz/ArcadeFire/BonIver side of rock but we'll see.
So Future is on the top line at a major festival. Well Ill be one to say that im pretty impressed by our society that a guy who looks, acts, and raps like Future could have the mainstream appeal to be able to be commercially viable to be a top line performer.

Which major festival?
So I cant tell if that means that you were just guessing/trolling above, or that Meadows isnt a major music festival. If its the second one, having The Weeknd and Kanye as headliners the year before solidifies this as a major festival IMO, same as something like Made In America which is a shitty festival experience but a major fest in the talent that it books.

Just curious, has anyone here seen a good Future live performance? I've never seen the air come out of a crowd at a festival than him this year on the Ultra livestream. How hard is it to enunciate?

Can't fucking believe they're playing the blue hills in boston. a goddamn travesty, that is by far the worst venue in the city and draws the worst people regardless of who plays.
