IT'S GREAT. Unless someone absolutely hates XCOM game play (which I've never played before this game) this is nearly a must own for Switch players. It is a great hand held game, the sound track is perfect, the leveling up system is fun and simple, and the worlds are pretty great to explore. I'm actually motivated to get all the extras and %100 this which isn't usually my thing. It's not a Nintendo game but god it feels like Nintendo game.

It's like, turn based final fantasy tactics isn't it? Just not my jam, too boring. And maybe I'm just not intelligent enough to really understand the strategy of moving around to a good spot to attack but also defend.
P.S. I preordered the Mario Bundle from Best Buy with the thought that I'd swap out my joycons and grab the digital code (if that's how they do it) and then resell my used joycons and the new console on fleabay. Seems like a lot more trouble than it's worth and I don't know that there's any real worth in reselling, so if any i'rooer is looking for that console for the holidays PM me. I'll more than likely just cancel the BB order before it ships. If someone wants it, I'd be happy to try to get the shipping address changed though.

Is it similar to Paper Mario or Legend of Mana? I'm trying to think of any turn-based games I've played in the past.
Finally put in a preorder for Mario. I swear I'm gonna lose it if Amazon screws my release day delivery again.
Also got the SNES Classic on order from Wal Mart. Nervous though because I changed my billing address on the card without thinking about the preorder that was placed. Changed it back yesterday, but it takes up to 48 hours to update in the banks system. Hoping it does so before wal mart tries to charge the card.

I've honestly never played either of those games. I'm generally not a big turn-based combat fan with the exception of grandia 2 and worms,but this game has been a lot of fun for me
Walmart online order for SNES popped up as back ordered while I was asleep in the middle of the night. Somehow I woke up early enough to get to the only Walmart I know that isnt 24hrs for their 6AM open and got one of 18 the store had.
Older brothers in town. Theres just some crazy memories being relived taking turns playing Earthbound. Its so strange picking up that controller and it literally feeling the exact same way I remember it.
In house reviews at Nintendo for Odyssey are surpassing that of BotW. Zelda with a 90, Mario at 93. As a game that is more universally appealing it's not crazy, but still, WOW
If Nintendo could start putting NES/SNES games on the Eshop, I'd feel a lot better about missing out on both NES and SNES classic editions. I mean I understand why they haven't from a business standpoint, and I could always hook up my Wii and get the games I want, but I only have so much room on my TV/entertainment stand.
Nonetheless, I'm really excited to hear about Odyssey doing so well on the pre-release reviews. I was going to get it anyway, but now I just might have to put down a pre-order for it.
