Duck Game, new Toe Jam and Earl, Stardew Valley multiplayer, Duck Game, Yooka-Laylee, Duck Game.
I had no idea what Duck game was and they didn't have it on the stream but since looking it up, color me intrigued. Also multiplayer for Stardew, was that a feature on the PC version?
Can I just say how happy I am it seems the computer only indies will gravitate towards the switch as well.
E:Also I just played the beta for Disk Jam and that along with Rocket League needs to get their ass on this system.
Duck Game is the main game I use my PC for these days. Small bouts of Civ, TF2, and Cockatrice can fill some voids when I'm not on console. I. Love. Duck Game. Worms meets Super Smash Bros.
I've never played Stardew Valley, I haven't gotten around to it, but one of the sources said multiplayer will debut on Switch. That could be wrong though.
I'm excited for the games announced just for 2017 and I'm glad I invested in a massive Mirco SD card.

I'm not into the side scroller games. I was stuck with those long enough growing up.I think the only one I've liked of the last several years was the first little big planet.
However, that flipping death game looked like something I actually would pick up.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next Civ game comes to switch. Also that's a wonderful description for Duck game. I'll definitly be picking it up from the video I just watched. You should check out towerfall, although not as goofy it's a similar set up. I'm glad I snagged one of those 256gb Samsung's they were giving out for free to the Note 7 preorders.

That looks super interesting, it's basically like Tim Burton the game.
Another weird one they didn't show on stream is Thumper which is a demonic rhythm. And freaking Rogue Trooper is getting remade, like wtf that's awesome.

I am picking up my Switch tomorrow at Gamestop on my lunch break. I don't think (in my old age) I can handle going to a midnight release and then getting up at 6:00 the next morning for work. lol
I am then swinging by Best Buy for my Zelda.
I am then returning to work and can then become a child again at 3:00 with my new Nintendo system + Zelda!
Is anyone else doing an extended warranty through Gamestop? How is their warranty plans? Anyone had any experience in the past?
Normally, I purchase my consoles at Best Buy.
I was a manager there for a couple of years. I suggest them for used systems, but most new consoles will have a manufacturer warranty. Only difference with GameStops over the manufacturers, is they'll replace it on the spot. It's a one time warranty and it doesn't cover anything accidental, pretty much just hardware failure.
I haven't worked there in like 5 years so things could have changed.

Well, well, well. I just got my UPS tracking number about 10 minutes ago.
For anyone without a pre-order...just stopped by my local Best Buy, they're doing a midnight launch. The woman at customer service said they'll be getting roughly 40 consoles for walk-in's. They're going to begin handing out tickets at 11pm for people in line tonight. Everyone that has a ticket gets a console.
Been in line since 6pm...about 35 people back and its 14 degrees outside...theres about 120 people in line at this best buy...they said everyone will get one!
There were around 50 people outside the Best Buy down the road, but I was 6th in line at Walmart 2.5 hours before midnight. They had 15 consoles total, 8 copies of Zelda, two of which were special edition. I may have to get a case for this thing.
So far my only complaint is this thing has a pretty weak wifi connection... My test speed on iPhone is 15mbps, while Switch can get no more than 6 in the same spot. Not sure what the issue is there. Oh well, Zelda is lovely so far.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything getting that unanimous of a "this game is perfect" sentiment. Maybe one of the Valve games? I don't think even GTA V got this level of praise.

I found the WiFi connection to be weak as well.
But christ, zelda is already wonderful. It has me so giddy. It's already shown depth and fun little details within the first hour. This is going to be an experience.
