I would never hold conversations during the show. Everyone around us started talking because the sound was so bad, which we then got in on part of the conversation. I wouldn't have been in the pit if I was expecting to talk.

I've had a similar experience once with Lana Del Rey at GovBall, except that people started performing karaoke in lieu of talking. Made the most of a bad set.
Maybe if we could have actually heard the set we could have done that instead. It was really that bad. I couldn't hear ANYTHING that was being sung/said from Bad Brains. Like I said before, my 14 yr old heart broke. It was one of the sets I was most anticipating.
