Only went in 2016 so i didn't see much at Other Tent except GoldLink and Leon Bridges. GoldLink was fun but i was really tired. That Leon Bridges set was great though.

Same feel about Goldlink - Leon brought it, one of my favorite sets last year. Also, Vulfpeck last year was absolutely insane.

Thursday of 2009 murs was my favorite other set. As long as they expand centeroo and make the other face away from everything, like towards staff/artist camping, I think this is a good idea.

I keep seeing the idea of having other face camping, does that really seem feasible? Would that not take a larger portion of space simply based on having to keep the behind stage area clear? Not to mention if it's pointed away from the other tents, it's pointed away from the festival. I don't really see that happening, someone ELI5
My The Other Tent memories: Death Grips 2013 Danny Brown 2014 Disclosure 2014 Jamie XX 2015 Caribou 2015 Even though the Superjam ended up being lackluster: watching Jon Hamm and Zach Galifinakis sing We are the world and Chance doing a Biggie cover
Temples King Gizz Unknown Mortal Orchestra Sylvan Esso Flying Lotus Jamie XX Caribou
Forgot about that FlyLo late night set! So epic. Chance dancing on stage, the crowd not letting him leave for almost an hour after he was supposed to be done. One of my favorite Bonnaroo memories.
Oh, are we talking about Other Tent memories now? It's hard to beat the inforoo man band photo op.
This isn't supposed to be sarcastic or snide, and I say this in the best possible way, but this is exactly what I expected my fellow inforooers to look like.

Dungen in 2016. Only year I went but it was a damn good show.
That was such a good show.
I went into the show wanting a late morning chill/jam session, but they were there to throw down. I've never seen a tambourine played with such gusto!
Definitely a better show then when I saw them at the Levitation cancellation show a few months prior.
And ya, that Flying Lotus LN show was something. After it finally ended and the lights came up, I just looked wide eyed at the people around me. We all knew we just saw something amazing.
The Other has ruined some shows for me with what seemed to be annual sound-issues...Little Dragon, Glass Animals, Frank Ocean, and Disclosure were all sub-par due to sound issues over the last 4-5 years.
Now that I look back, some of my favorite sets I saw at Other were:
Robyn Phantogram ASAP Rocky Porter Robinson (this show is my single greatest memory in my 8 years of going to Roo...having a bouncy castle take shape in the crowd under the tent, filled with 100s of balls was amazing...how someone was able to sneak that air generator in is beyond me)
Most of my favorite shows have been in The Other Tent. Not that The Other Tent was anything special, just all of my favorite shows happened to take place there.
DIIV, Death Grips, Weird Al, Action Bronson, Tame Impala, ASAP Rocky, Pusha T, Danny Brown, King Gizzard, SZA, Jamie xx, Dungen, Lamb of God....
I'm sad to see one of my favorite tents go. I've seen some of my favorite sets each year there (Lotus, HAIM, and Ozomatli immediately come to mind)! But if it gives the EDM crowd somewhere to largely congregate I guess that's a positive.
That Ozomatli set was good.
Also remember seeing The Civil Wars, Trampled by Turtles, and Gwar over there.
