That week is one of the craziest weeks for NYC shows since I've moved here.
Meadows Paul McCartney Roger Waters Depeche Mode Arcade Fire Patti Smith Willie Nelson Father John Misty Sturgill Simpson Mount Eerie Big Thief Vulfpeck
Didn't realize Waters was that week. I should start trying to find a ticket to that. Thanks.
Edit: To add to your list; Norah Jones, Kasabian, James Blake, Danzig, and Talib Kweli are all that week too. Crazy week indeed.
Additionally: Sustain-Release Fest (not in NYC but still). Joy Orbison is also playing at James Blake's 1-800 Dinosaur event.

Please don't tell me this is the salt from the leak of potential headliners of the premier festival in America spilling over to the thread for the big bad corporate fest on the other side of the country
Hoping for Arcade Fire as I missed the MSG show. Hopes are high because that show was booked by Live Nation and they only did 1 date (as opposed to 3 lsat time).
Sure! As long as Radiohead play Boston Calling too
Maybe LiveNation will cut a deal to have them play Sasquatch, Gov Ball, and Roo (sorry).
Radiohead would go a long ways towards getting me to Roo and they'd be better there than Boston Calling, so I'd be ok with this. Especially if I can finally make Gov Ball work next year

But given the Toronto 2012 incident involving Live Nation, is Radiohead going to be working with them in the near future given that there are alternative promoters and offers?

Yup, same with a couple of European festivals with an LN-share in them. That said, look at all their standalone venue shows on the Moon Shaped Pool tour that were done outside of Live Nation, as well as the fact that Radiohead recently released a statement how disappointed they were with the most recent development in the case.
Ambitious of him to book Radio City in 2018. I love Noel and Oasis but don't know if that many people will still be willing to come out. Speaking of anglophiles, I think that Kasabian show also struggled to fill T5 which is a shame because they're a great live act.

Kasabian is cursed to only stay big in the UK. The only reason they even headline some European mainland festivals is if those fests cater to British tourists.

Which is too bad as I wish they'd tour here more often.
Anyone got a presale password for YYYs at Kings Theatre they wanna share?
I didn't pre-order so on code. That's an odd venue for that show, considering they are playing the much smaller Fonda in LA. Either way, an open floor would be much more desirable than a seated theater for this. Should have booked Hammerstein.

Totally. Not thrilled at all about a seated venue. Still gonna try for tix Friday tho.
