At least there's no way Gov Ball could be one of the worst two lineups in the country.
Many of the same bland names will be included here. This festival seems to lands a handful of those "cool" acts each year. But it's often comprised of much of the same low-grade, highly available, Spotify radio stuff.
I thought this had one of the better lineups of last year. The way the scheduling worked out you could have seen pretty much every cool act (still salty I had to leave Kevin Parker and Mark Ronson early to get a good spot for Gambino though.

I'll never forgive them for the Gambino/Phoenix conflict.
I expect it to be one of the better US fests. But still don't think I'll love it. The fest world has become a dark place. Hopefully they get more unique acts (Tool, Air, Beach House)

I dont understand how the South American Lollapaloozas are so so much better than these first two major-ish North American Fests
Running through this thread very quickly, I thought for a second this said "Khaled," and that we were talking about DJ Khaled, and was prepared to be sad.

Wish it would have gone Gambino on main > KP vs MR in tent > Phoenix

Since this is a Founder's festival and it's been a couple of years, I have to assume that they're booking Chromeo again. It feels like an eventuality. That said, they'll probably be knocked down a line or two from the third line position they had in 2015.

Passion Pit announced a T5 date for early January so, considering that is a small-ish venue for them (not sure how popular they still are), wonder if they're a potential since Michael lives in Brooklyn.

I thought that as well at first, but they're playing T5 sized venues for the whole tour and also have a brooklyn steel show
Per my Twitter scrolling skills, last year they put out the first clue on December 19. Four clues total before the lineup drop on January 4. We're getting there
Hoping Grizzly Bear and/or Manchester Orchestra make this bill. Missed their dates in the Fall and hoping by Summer it'll be time for them to come back around.

Grizzly Bear are in Denmark on Thursday and Dublin on Monday, I'd say they are probably going to play Primavera Sound in between.

O man well I guess that helps me not get my hopes up for them!
