Yeah, they retweeted a video of Frank at Pano. Would be a really odd move unless they booked him. Frank also said he was gonna be active next year. The tweet was taken down because videos of Frank live get taken down (yes I know there are a few on YouTube).

Huh, good to know! I've been hoping Boston Calling will book him. If BC and GB wanna split Pearl Jam and Frank like they did Tool and Chance I'd be very happy.
Kesha and Macklemore are playing Jones beach July 30th. Wondef what that means about the praying hands clue...
I saw the praying hands one and immediately thought Tchami. He dresses up priest garb for his sets, does the praying motion all the time, and sells merch that looks like this:

Man, remember when this only costed $249 four years ago? Obviously all festivals have increased their price since then, but it's not like the ticket hikes have lead to more qualitative experiences across the board.

Hamburgers used to cost only a nickel in my day!
But nah, I would argue they have gotten better. Remember how bad the Honda Stage was a few years ago? Lana Del Rey's set was ruined by all accounts. It got a major upgrade last year, Gambino sounded amazing and stole the whole fest.

I'm referring to a situation from only 4 years ago, don't get me started on when I first started attending festivals a decade ago.
Glad that the sound quality at the Honda Stage has improved.

Gov Ball is only 6 years old... The situation I am talking about was from 2 years ago.. In two years the sound quality and therefore the audience experience has drastically improved.
does the lineup make buying the presale pass worth it?
I think so. But everyone has different taste. Worst case, you can just resell. The fest usually sells out so youd make your money back and then some.
Alright, bought a VIP pass in advance. Hope this doesn’t skew TOO hip-hop/EDM. I understand those are the major draws these days but hoping for at least 5-6 decent alt/indie acts a day to justify the price.

?
It went up $26.00 in 4 years or was that the final price then vs. the presale pricing now?

Sound quality is just one factor of audience experience. But I'm not singling out GovBall in particular here, rather, the entire festival scene. Still serves as a good case study nonetheless.
