OK, after spending a couple days with Cut Copy, I am absolutely a convert. Two thoughts:
1. I kinda wish *they* could close opposite Travis Scott, although I know they're probably too far down the lineup for that to be the case. That'd be a hell of a night set, though. Maybe the sunset slot?
2. Please tell me "Where I'm Going" is a live staple even though it's old, because that shit is my jam.

The new James Blake song is exactly the alternative type of James Blake stuff @jonesjupiter suggested when he got announced. Very nice.
I totally respect that that is what you guys want out of James Blake, but actually wish he would just give us one album filled to the brim with straight forward bangers.
Slow and chill kind of like Awaken My Love. Believe it or not he played with a live band and they just jammed a lot too. He covered Stevie Wonder, and they did some improv songs that they were making up on the fly. It was really cool.
He didnt play a lot of earlier stuff. Some of the younger kids there chanting World Star at him didnt seem to enjoy the show. I thought it was so fucking cool.
Can't wait for whatever the next album is. I didn't know what these shows were about....could you only go if you had a mastercard? or was that just a presale type of thing? Either way, can't wait for new Gambino
Nah but I know someone who went. Apparently he still isnt all that great live. Ill check him out in June. Maybe having an actual production will help. Those shows at Irving were barebones/intimate.

As long as they get an hour set, that will make up for me missing the T5 show. Additionally, as you've probably learned, anything on Free Your Mind, Zonoscope and In Ghost Colours is undeniable.

They played Where I'm Going at their T5 show two months back.

His production from last year's performances at Reading and Leeds looks embarrassingly bad. A big screen with minimal graphics that look straight out of a Windows '95 screensaver.

That was a one off though. He'll be on a full blown tour this year. He won't roll up to Coachella with a windows screen saver lol.

Is he planned to announce stand alone shows as well?

It seems he's been using the same sort of production for all his recent shows (Lolla 2014, Music Midtown 2014 and Roo 2011 are my frames of reference there), so I'm curious if it receives a big boost or not.
I can second the production was garbage for Lolla '14 as well. Really hoping he improves that aspect.
His Lolla '11 show was really disappointing. After being rail for Atmosphere, transitioning to the middle-back of the Eminem crowd was rough. I remember feeling like he was lip syncing, seeing two fights, and being put off by the medleys. Thinking I missed Beirut on Grove for that makes me want to throw up, and I actually kind of liked Recovery at the time.
I honestly like quite a bit of the tracks he plays live but he has zero stage presence, lip syncs a shit ton, and the choppiness of the set doesn't help. Throw in below average production and there's just nothing to be excited about. I'm still gonna see him at GBall and give him a fair shot again, but the expectations should start in the toilet and go from there.
